@Cre8iveSignWorks souvenir shop ones r ok for learning but no good as far as ethics and benefit to aboriginal people are concerned. a plastic pipe would be cheaper, n more ethical. something with high backpressure will be easier to learn on, maybe an F or F# key tho most beginners seem to prefer a deeper key as a personal preference.

Recently there was a "didge player" on American Idol completely destroying what it means to play one. Here is a real player, I should catch up with this kids technique some time in the next decade. Wait for the two minute mark for some sick beats.

he doesn't need a sense of rhythm superdigeman! its his own friggin way to play his instrument! maybe its his culture to not read sheet music and play whole notes and stuff(i play flute and i find it very hard to have enough breathe...how about u go without breathing for 20 seconds... u big fat jerk)
