  • Orengo is the same fellow I see dancing at Rallies. He needs to be moved. If they want this place sorted out, put Michuki in there

  • If kibaki was tough on corruption,he would have came out in that public address with things like-"all land officers at ardhi house are fired and their properties confiscated.Kimunyu must face the firing death squad at uhuru park to teach others a lesson" but its promises as usual while thieves in his govt are having a field day.

  • just hire price waterhouse to carry out an audit ya transactions zote io dept.

  • A waste of our time. Orengo has shockingly failed to reform the ministry. The rot is within, but he wants to pass the blame to the judiciary. I'm not holding my breath but I'm still waiting for KAA to be found in contempt for the demolitions.

  • yes i agree-bt the two principle ve contributed greatly-shame them impunity in the increase corruption has failed all public institutions

  • yes! Finally, someone that hates Kenya as much as I do. Worst country in the world.

  • these cartels need to DIE!

  • The job at the Lands ministry and many other public institutions is never going to be easy. We have serving officers who were employed thru corrupt deals , were trained by corrupt mentors , they have a corrupted manual system , saddled by corrupt oldmen sitting on commissions , a corrupt coalition gov ,,,,etc etc ,,, add a breed of new , young , corrupt officers with 'IT' skills now settling in all these utilities. Brace for the worst,,, greed and more greed.

  • Police are the most corrupt in Kenya. This is all BS. Kenyans need to raise hell.

  • The same police used to taking bribes & get paid peanuts will be compromised to collude with rich land buyers. Its like putting a drug user and a dealer to man the boarder post.

  • If you want to catch a thief, send a thief to catch that thief.

  • how else can you define a kenyan without corruption.

  • Amend the law for stiffer penalties like 25 to life imprisonment for fraud in land deals. Hang the judges who compromise the outcome in cases through kitu kidogo. Apply the law equally to everyone.

  • This clip is made on the same public relations line s as in SONU days to achieve Schadensbegrenzung (limiting damage) for James Orengo. Currently there is a lot of garbage surrounding James Orengo, not least the extra-judicial demolition of Wananchi’s houses in Nairobi. Those citizens whose houses were demolished and their many friends and relatives will certainly not vote for ODM in 2012. And fortunately, Orengo will never be in Lands Ministry in 2012, should he not have resigned by then.

  • @Savai333 wacha ukabila , why don't you say those ppl whose hses were demolished will never vote for Kimunya and PNU and you know they are the ones who created mess ! Bure Kabisa !

  • @Savai333 I think you should say that those ppl whose hses were demolished will never vote for Kimunya and PNU cos all of this mess started during his tenure ! Wacha ukabila Mzeiya ,mafala ka wewe ndiyo hu bring Kenya to it's knees ...u should have been born during ur grandpa's time cos you half a decade behind ! It's 2011 just incase you forgot !

  • @roughko Why is it tribalistic to say peeps whose hses who demolished wont vote for ODM? i didn't know ODM is Purely a Luo party?

  • @sharpshooter2897 - Nice argument. Lol, @ruoghko exposed himself with his own words.

  • @Savai333 lol Tribalist at it again, you forgeting Kimunya or cos he's ur kinsman ....dude ,it's almost 2012 ,wake up !

  • Orengo and Kimunya must go

  • Bu the police is ranked as the most corrupt institution in Kenya????

  • Comment removed

  • "Police unit has been formed to investigate land cartels..blah blah blah"Ooh My country!!

Tell us when the investigation is starting, when its ending and when will the report be public.

  • Firing these officials is not enough, not even close. I'm almost certain this scandal goes all the way up in the government. The tricky part is prosecuting the cases successfully.
