Y'know why Jap cars are so great at drifting? Because they're absolutely terrible on the drag strip. They weigh so damn little due to their tiny friggin' motors. Jap cars are about great mileage, great handling, zero power. I'm sorry but if some random fuckin guy can drive a car down the interstate and the ACCELERATOR (which makes the car go faster, for those who don't know.) gets STUCK and he doesn't crash while on the phone with 9/11? Car's nowhere near fuckin fast enough. Fuck that.

As far as the accelerator getting stuck, I'm thinking ur talking abt a camry or corolla, and no, they weren't fast, but try a Supra or a Skyline on for size, they're jap cars and they put out assloads of power. And for the record, my favorite car is the Iroc Z Camaros with a 5.7 TPI V8, so dont go calling me a rice worshiper.

It was down with real traffic in as much as the road was closed off and people from New Orleans were able to volunteer to drive in the scene. So no, its not real traffic, everyone knew it was happening, but the cars shown were non-professional volunteer drivers. I'm not sure how the insurance was handled, or if there was any at all. This is right next to New Orleans's French Quarter for any of you that may have vistied for Mardi Gras and the like.
