maybe it's just me but i think the "split-screen" means something like 40% of a game because i don't have a xbox live account and playing with a friend in the same room can be a looot of fun :)

I know this is a late answer the black bars are caused by a larger tv, it happened to me when I got my new tv. Its very annoying and I wish bungie would do something of some sort to fix it since gears of war 2 works fine with it.

Hey. I've played halo 3 twice now and I think it's really ganna be the game I buy once I get a 360. I'm just wondering though... Can you add bots or AI or computer players or whatever you wanna call them when playing splitscreen/ multiplayer? Thanks for the help guys.

when i play split screen halo on my 360 , the screen size changes to become much less wide, this happened with my old tv also, but does not happen with any other splitsreen games that i own like gears of war and forza 2. none of my friends seem to have this problem when playing splitscreen halo. i have tried adjusting all the settings and display etc.. but nothing seems to fix it. can anyone give me any advice? has this happend to anyoone else?

i noe the prob, on ur xbox, under console settings, go to screen options or sumthin, then choose full screen, or wht ever isnt widescreen, that should help, i had that samp prob

yes u can just make a custom game with u and a friend in it and u can play anytime this game is more fun with friends or splitscreen so u can have someone u know to talk too :D

Lol in the second Scarab fight I took a warthog, ripped it off a jump, flew above the scarab, bailed out and landed on it, then proceded to take out the core for a quick kill. My friend got pissed cause he died right when he dropped from the hog.
