  • haha the air filter opening is bigger but it just gets put into a 4 inch pipe it still could've had a restriction at the filter and have no difference

  • How about... spending money on something that is fun to drive? I have a truck and its great to move stuff. Towing is great too! but why do people want 1 million horsepower in a dead axle, monobeam, 8000lb truck? that's not fun. I think that not enough people have driven a light sporty car (high power or not). It's engaging, responsive and often great on gas!

  • do they have this for the 2001 5.9? and if so how much? thanks

  • HAHA they looked so short at first. Camera angles...

  • @wintergreen1300 I do dig the program, just truck me funny is all.

  • yah 7" filter outlet but it still funnels down to 4" in the intake tube

  • @madde78273 I just deleted my comment that said the exact same thing ahahahhaha

  • Remap will do.

  • This is good and really the truth you can't just add parts of a banks or bullydog system etc otherwise things will start to over heat and break I know people that just put a chip in and they have overheating problems

  • it doesnt matter wich exhaust you use with wich intercooler if theyre bigger than the stock parts theyl work together ;)

  • LMAO the short guy can bearly reach into the engine bay

  • Add a sticker called "NOS" and gain loads of HP.

    True story.

  • That buzz guy was a jackass. Thats why spike Tv spiked that faggot right off of the show!

  • What a load of shit, simple tune on dyno and induction kit will work wonders for 99% of vehicles on the road today

  • more air means a cleaner burn which means less soot...

  • about how much is the kit?

  • these guys are dick bags

  • it doesnt matter the brand it matters the specifications of it

if u get a cheap intercooler thats worth 50 bucks just an example

its not going to work as well as a bbk 1 grand intercooler

.... just saying but i agree

that if u get a bigger intercooler and a better exhaust u will not lose hp... no way

  • Hahaha a PDA!!!!! Man I guess in 2007 smartphones weren't too big yet hahaha ohh man what a hoot I had to look like 3x to make sure I was seeing that!

  • they need to give this truck to stacy david so it can be tested the right way!

  • the computer module you piggy back into the ECU changes not just boost but fuel mapping too

  • I wish my name was "Buzz" us Brits have crap names like Kevin ( Sorry to any Kev's out there )

  • with the tuners it all depends on what year your truck on my 99 it only extends to time that the injector pump pushes fuel to the injector. the stuff they are talking about only workes on the common rail systems because the injector pressure pump is electrical and the injectors re electrical.

  • from what i have seen with the prices today; banks is equall with their competition. and banks stuff keeps you good through the new smog laws coming up next year.

  • If you want facts, go to rareiron, they have the low down on most exchanges. You be the judge What do I know ?

  • i dont care what anyone says if you have a bigger intercooler and a bigger exhaust no matter what the brand your not going to get a reduction in power

  • exactly. you may see a reduction ini boost pressure, but not power

  • my uncle's ram lost Hp when he installed different products from different companys... and y would they lie to you they have no reason to

  • first of all im only asking because i dont know, but how do you know if a car lost horse power?

  • dyno before and after or if it feels like it doesnt accelerate as hard as it did before

  • dyno numbers to prove it.

  • @FORDGTFANATIC lol you might want to be more specific on "bigger" Its more about the design

  • ive got a mitsibushi l200 warrior, its a 2500cc turbo deisel ,what could you give me?

  • a cummins ;)

  • A Dodge Cummins!!!

  • wat quad cab diesel truck is recommended 4x4 preferably

  • that stock intercooler is about 10 times bigger than my stock one in my discovery tdi

  • banks is amazing i cant wait to get a diesel because as soon as i get it a banks system is going on..my dad has this system on his cummins and it is crazy the power it has

  • If yr taking that intercooler off the truck can i have the old one for my Fiat Diesel punto . . it's huge!!! : O

  • the only thing i can knock gale banks for is, he knows smoke robs horsepwoer which means when you get a banks chip, you got no smoke! but ill take hp over smoke.

  • Actually this engines emissions system is still fully intact and working. The emissions levels and soot production are still at the factory level even though the power output is increased.

  • @ollonsvin it's about getting more cooler air to the engine,it will not change emissions

  • @ollonsvin Good thing its not illegal in the US because I love my straight exhaust.

  • See how long ur truck lasts with smarty compare to banks

  • If you can't tell the truck is a Cummins without seeing the badge on the side you have no business watching this video in the first place. Intercoolers? Turbos? EGT measuring? Yeah, not likely on a gas engine truck.

  • banks viper?

  • that is a cummins...

  • ok again in the video it IS a cummins i know but i was replying to someone on here and i dont remember.

  • thats why theres a big c on the fender right?-

  • [sigh] uh i dont remember who i responded to on this one in the vid is a cummins i think i was replying to someone on the comments who might have had a false answer, whatever doesn't matter i dont remember so it didn't happen

  • Iam surprised the tubing for that turbo isnt mandrel bent it's kinked insted wtf

  • Sweet Deal. Any idea of when this kit will be out for the 6.7L Cummins? Furthermore, what kind of mileage will one get after installing this kit?

  • No grease/dirt on the floor?!?!?! Not my kind of place!!!

  • ehhh, this package seems too...noobish.

i mean yes more air=more power, but u cant relie on just air, i mean there is so much more things you can do then increase air flow and fuel flow

engine timing sounds more like fun :)

  • Changing camshafts and CPU units is really a bigger pain in the ass..

But then again it is more worth it! :D

  • @jp732 i think you should watch this over...the "6 gun" or "little red box" is what tunes your air/fuel and the timing on your engine....you did not watch this at all ?

  • @jp732 engine timing? you can have a bit more fun than that :p

  • yep run too lean but larger flow injectors help and boost controller

  • Hi midenighty dude, the speeding up of the air is called the 'venturi effect'. The bit I wasn't sure about was if that would make it even hotter or not. Superchargers are well known for making heat. Not sure if it's mechanical heat or from the actual air pressure they create.

  • Any time you compress air, it will heat up.

  • I think you'll find that reducing the intake diameter after the Supercharger will speed up the ariflow and create more heat. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. ;-)

  • i donot think that will speed up a airfolw cuz i have big amount of air into a small place

  • it is all about egt's with diesels

  • I wonder how long that transmission will last. My buddy works at a dodge dealer and they're replacing Ram automatics every day. Last week they had to replace a transmission on a truck with 20 miles on it!

Banks is one of the best.

  • no offence but im from europe, and what the point? wont go above 100 mph anyway..

  • What are you smokeing? Any Cummins Turbo Diesel can hit over 100 easy. My cummins has 410hp and 700ftlb of torque.

  • yes that fine but what the topspeed?? in southern germany there is no speedlimit, but here the fastest you can go is 70 mph!?

  • a cummins top speed stock is around 100 with upgrades they can go much much faster

  • he he yea okey.. but en europe we never heard about electronic limitations on topspeed. Have an old wv at home 2.9 v6 and that one goes 156 mph, no turbo. Thats enginering

  • vr6? yeah they are a good engine i would love an corado but thats a sporty car its meant to do that these trucks are meant for work and to pull things it just so happens that with the right tuning they go fast as well.

  • haha good guess its an Corrado... yes but im in to leight weight to compensate for horsepowers...my oppinion its just to big in everything.. To drag somthing (work on an airport) they use about a 3 liters diesel normal aspiratet to drag a 400000lb airplane...

  • cummins get around 20 to 25 miles to the gallon stock which is better than most gas engines with the same power an torque so i don't no i guess things are just different here compared to where you live

  • he he you are right, i live i florida right now and its a different world. Liked the westcoast much better. But lot of good and bad thing you now. But the mentality about how cars and so on are made an driven are totaly different. In denmark i pay 8.8 dollars a gallon.. So now new cars have twin turboes, compressor to push up the mileage. Fx a new passat goes 61 miles pr gallon and stil got a 2.0 with a twin turbo.

  • yeah well as gas prices rise here our engines will become more efficient. I'm a mortorcycle guy myself but i also love tons of cars and trucks they all have their own strengths and cons it all depends on how you look at it and what you want to do with it

  • how much does it cost 10 grand? lol

  • it would be cool if you piped freon through the intercooler and cool the air even more

  • I dont think you would get any H.P. from freon. Thats why we use nitrous and/or water/methanol to cool things off and add horsepower.

  • Or propane. Frion? I don't know about that.
