@bloodrain744 the muscular part I won't dispute. however if I remember right, there is a fair amount of time between Saws 1 and 2, probably enough time for the corpse to rot. and it is hard to tell just how muscular the corpse is, with how much it has rotted.
@cryoutBenehime that still leaves the factor of the corpse being bald. it isnt that far into rotting, so it should still have hair. in saw 2, zepps dead corpse still had its hair and they both "died" right around the same time, so why the lack of hair on adams corpse?? plus the chain on the wrong foot is still an unsolved mystery

And when watching it, I actually cannot find Zepp's corpse, but I plan to pay closer attention next time I watch the movies through. This idea is reinforced by Jigsaw saying coldly, "Game over," as he shuts the door. So to conclude: The corpse can't be Tapp, Gordon couldn't have rescued him before we see him suffocated, and Jigsaw wouldn't have saved him because he failed his test.

And Gordan wouldn't have been in any shape to rescue Adam by the time we see his body in Saw II; he was still being treated by Jigsaw. And even if he was, he wouldn't have let Gordon rescue him because Adam failed his test; he didn't cut off his leg like Gordon. We can tell that this is what Jigsaw intended because he left two saws in the room. So even though Adam "appreciated life" by the end of his test, Jigsaw still would've left him to die for not completing it successfully.

Tapp doesn't die from that gunshot wound. In the Saw video game, it's revealed that Tapp is healed by Jigsaw, then placed in a trap of his own. After escaping the trap he commits suicide in his apartment. It makes no sense that the corpse is Tapp. Why would they steal Tapp's body, dress him up like Adam, then hide his body in that bathroom with his leg chained up? The set designers just made a few minor mistakes in filming the sequels. And any idiot with a camera can take photographs.
Okay, theories are always nice. I´m a huge fan also but my opinion is that it should be over now. And have you guys ever heard "movie makers mistakes" ?? These just might be mistakes, regarding to left or right leg and the bullet whole(+bullet whole looks to be in different place in different picture ankle). Or there is a possibility that they made these "mistakes" purposely in thoughts of making S8 but then realized that there´s no reason to make Saw 8 anymore?
@MrHatAndClogs1001001 I know it still could happen but i see no reason why. 3Ds ending was the typical 360-plot twist that usually ends long term movies. And obvious sign that 3D was the last is the fact we got to see Jigsaw ONLY once in 3D. In 4,5 and 6 the extra spice was particularly the Kramer flashbacks. And of course Hoffman could do "Eric Mathews" to get out of the chain, but isnt that already done once. So I find it hard to find any good plot to the eight Saw.

these things are called continuity errors. its the same as if in one scene 2 people are talking and the clock in the background says 5:15, then when the camera brings the background clock back into frame, it says 8:43, this stuff happens all the time. its nice to have a theory, but sometimes, you might be reading into something that just isn't there

It's impossible for the purpose of Adam's shackle change to be a potential plot point: It would've been more pronounced, and the legs would've been purposely placed in the middle to create a focal point, rather than his legs to be placed to the side (1:22). A lot of different things happened between the events of SAW and SAW 3D, so it is rather inconceivable that Adam's gunshot placement was conveniently placed for a movie placed 6 more along the timeline.

I ask you, how much decomposition can occur in an average body over a few years? Enough to, say, change the position of the clothing? Perhaps the clothing slid down. It's possible, considering the location of the neckline of the shirt in SAW 3D in comparison to SAW.

Jigsaw never stated that Adam appreciated life. He simply stated to Adam that he now valued his life, because certain death was upon him. In SAW 3, we see Amanda enter the bathroom and strangle him with a bit of plastic.

I am a huge Saw fan. You did a great job trying to analyze if there will be a 8th. But watching you video I noticed a mistake that would of made me believe you 100%. The locks on the different ankles where accurate but the bullet holes left me puzzled. When you showed the 2movie part when the Corpse had the chain on the opposite leg concluding it was a diff corpse but the bullet hole was in the same spot as Adam originally got shot....

This is just over analysis imo... Everything here is probably nothing more than a mistake they made while filming and obviously wasn't noticed. Saw is a washed up franchise anyway... The first one was miles better than every other film in the franchise, and the series just failed to live up to that first movie.

@birminghamcity123 It's possible they switched clothes with the dead detective. In SAW, Adam's clothes are kind of baggy, the legs on his jeans practically touch the floor. In SAW 2, the jean legs on the corpse are above the ankles.
I think it may just bve errors by the film makers, can't be 100% perfect in every movie, that and IU don't think they watch their own films or pay extremely close attention when they do.

This idea is reinforced by Jigsaw saying coldly, "Game over," as he shuts the door. So to conclude: The corpse can't be Tapp, Gordon couldn't have rescued him before we see him suffocated, and Jigsaw wouldn't have saved him because he failed his test.

And Gordan wouldn't have been in any shape to rescue Adam by the time we see his body in Saw II; he was still being treated by Jigsaw. And even if he was, he wouldn't have let Gordon rescue him because Adam failed his test; he didn't cut off his leg like Gordon. We can tell that this is what Jigsaw intended because he left two saws in the room. So even though Adam "appreciated life" by the end of his test, Jigsaw still would've left him to die for not completing it successfully.

Tapp doesn't die from that gunshot wound. In the Saw video game, it's revealed that Tapp is healed by Jigsaw, then placed in a trap of his own. After escaping the trap he commits suicide in his apartment. It makes no sense that the corpse is Tapp. Why would they steal Tapp's body, dress him up like Adam, then hide his body in that bathroom with his leg chained up? The set designers just made a few minor mistakes in filming the sequels. And any idiot with a camera can take photographs.

Okay, theories are always nice. I´m a huge fan also but my opinion is that it should be over now. And have you guys ever heard "movie makers mistakes" ?? These just might be mistakes, regarding to left or right leg and the bullet whole(+bullet whole looks to be in different place in different picture ankle). Or there is a possibility that they made these "mistakes" purposely in thoughts of making S8 but then realized that there´s no reason to make Saw 8 anymore?

@MrHatAndClogs1001001 I know it still could happen but i see no reason why. 3Ds ending was the typical 360-plot twist that usually ends long term movies. And obvious sign that 3D was the last is the fact we got to see Jigsaw ONLY once in 3D. In 4,5 and 6 the extra spice was particularly the Kramer flashbacks. And of course Hoffman could do "Eric Mathews" to get out of the chain, but isnt that already done once. So I find it hard to find any good plot to the eight Saw.

these things are called continuity errors. its the same as if in one scene 2 people are talking and the clock in the background says 5:15, then when the camera brings the background clock back into frame, it says 8:43, this stuff happens all the time. its nice to have a theory, but sometimes, you might be reading into something that just isn't there

It's impossible for the purpose of Adam's shackle change to be a potential plot point: It would've been more pronounced, and the legs would've been purposely placed in the middle to create a focal point, rather than his legs to be placed to the side (1:22). A lot of different things happened between the events of SAW and SAW 3D, so it is rather inconceivable that Adam's gunshot placement was conveniently placed for a movie placed 6 more along the timeline.

I ask you, how much decomposition can occur in an average body over a few years? Enough to, say, change the position of the clothing? Perhaps the clothing slid down. It's possible, considering the location of the neckline of the shirt in SAW 3D in comparison to SAW.

Jigsaw never stated that Adam appreciated life. He simply stated to Adam that he now valued his life, because certain death was upon him. In SAW 3, we see Amanda enter the bathroom and strangle him with a bit of plastic.

I am a huge Saw fan. You did a great job trying to analyze if there will be a 8th. But watching you video I noticed a mistake that would of made me believe you 100%. The locks on the different ankles where accurate but the bullet holes left me puzzled. When you showed the 2movie part when the Corpse had the chain on the opposite leg concluding it was a diff corpse but the bullet hole was in the same spot as Adam originally got shot....

This is just over analysis imo... Everything here is probably nothing more than a mistake they made while filming and obviously wasn't noticed. Saw is a washed up franchise anyway... The first one was miles better than every other film in the franchise, and the series just failed to live up to that first movie.

@birminghamcity123 It's possible they switched clothes with the dead detective. In SAW, Adam's clothes are kind of baggy, the legs on his jeans practically touch the floor. In SAW 2, the jean legs on the corpse are above the ankles.
