  • I can't belive she called it "a great family movie". I'm not saying the movie's bad or anything.. it's an AMAZING movie ! But it's scary as shit ! I'm 18 years old and I got nightmares.

  • 0:12 ... shes hot ;)

  • not in the beginning of that scene

  • @TheAdventuresOfUs37

    *cough* 0:11 shes hot ;D

  • @TheAdventuresOfUs37

actually... now it goes to the old chick...... OKAY!

the girl that says "i loved it!"

    there :)

  • Its a creepy movie definitely not for little kids though. I started to watch it with one of my nieces, and she freaked out at the opening credits, the part where the Coraline doll was being made. So, I shut it off. I will never buy her a lalaloopsey doll. Those dolls are freaky as hell, with their button eyes.

  • its a great family movie? are you out of your minds? Im 14 and this creeped the shit out of me!

  • @Sittingonacornflakee Don't worry,i was like 20-now i'm 21-when i watched this movie for the first time and it simply creeped the shit out of me as well.

I would not let a person who's less than 10 years to watch it.

  • I showed my little cousin " Nightmare before Christmas " when he was about five and he loved it but when I showed him a clip of " Corpse Bride" he was scared. I don't think young kids are always scared of movies like these I think it's up to the adults to make the decision if they like it let them watch it if they say after a minute Iam scared turn it off .. simple as that.

  • this movie is really amazing. i am 20 years old and i am lovin it. It's so scary yet dreamy...

  • I didnt like it, it was creepy

  • @neonuma101 my sister was 5 when she saw this movie and she loved so keep ur opionion to urself it was a great movie and its one of my top favorites so yeah

  • i watched in 3D and front row, and when it was over everyone in the theater clpped

  • @theheckwithit i was in the front row too but i shit my pants and went to the back row!!!

  • CHECK OUT SLUGZILLA! OR SLUGZILLER!

  • I love this movie, I thought it was really good but It's kinda frightening in some parts.

  • @neonuma101 well ... it depends ... i think little children would be really happy about it , coz they see things differently than an adult :D

  • @neonuma101 or ma-by captivated , coz when you're little you see things differently than when you're an adult ... i mean ...

  • @neonuma101 Except for my 6-year-old neighbor. It's her favorite movie.

  • SLUGZILLA!!!

  • Little children don't fear anything most of the time. They learn to fear later by the standards we set for them. As a child you'd probably pick up a spider without even thinking about it ,later most people won't do it any more out of fear.

As a child I loved spooky things and stories. In the end it all depends on a child...

  • 'Say hello to SLUGZILLAAAA' XD

  • what? is it Tim Burton? :S

  • No, it was directed by Henry Selick, who in my opinion is a superior filmmaker.

  • Tim Burton wasn't involved in the movie at all

  • I fell in love with this movie, even before i actually saw it. I had researched and researched the upcoming Henry Selick film until my fingers hurt and my eyes coulnd't watch the trailer anymore. I even took a HUGE group of my friends to go see it opening night! Once i watched it, I fell completely in love with it and it sparked my obsession with buttons and dolls. Amazing movie! I even preordered the DVD!

  • it is not a great family movie! it's scary!! but it is a great movie. good job guys!! :)

  • Haha!

I know, right? I was at my friend's house and her little brother and sister were watching it and I was about to be like "Um, should they really be watching this?" because in my opinion, it's pretty freaky as in a nightmare that would wake you up in the middle of the night kind of freaky. But I adore movies like this :)

  • wow is this as good as tnbc cuz im goin seing it tmoz?

  • I CAN'T GET OVER HOW CUTE WYBIE IS

  • Cool!

  • It was how a 3D movie is supposed 2 b. It wasn't in every scene, and they didn't make it that way. It only came 3D about 5 times in the whole movie, but that was enough to make it awesome!

  • I liked how the movie was not 'all in you face' 3D.

  • I loved the movie, it was spectacular! I had to BEG my mom and dad to go see it, really.

  • Actually, Tim Burton was not involved with this film at all. Many people mistake Burton as the director of The Nightmare Before Christmas, but he was actually the producer. Henry Selick was the director. I can't even remember how many times I've had to tell this to people. It kinda makes me feel like an a-hole, but whatev.

  • you're not the only one xD

i'm obssesed too, and i love stop motion, so i had to know everything about coraline just as i did with nightmare before xmas xD

  • @NerdyKnight No you're not. I already knew this film wasn't directed by Tim Burton.

  • @NerdyKnight a-hole... considering buttons were central to this film, was that a pun?

  • oh my gosh it seems it was better the 20th time i watched it

  • when i watched it the theater was packed! full of kids... o.o they werent scared tho

  • The kids were really scared. Like they sounded very disturbed and said "I'm scaywred" at least 4 times and the dad was like "no you arn't" instead of removing the child. And there were kids crying at the scary parts.

NOT a family movie, VERY TWISTED

    I loved it though.

GO SEE IT BAKED OUT OF YOUR MIND!

  • lol me & my friend did that & it was awesome

    =]

  • I know i saw it yesterday and it was the 1st time I saw a cartoon someone wated to leave or was scared.

  • My family and I laughed our asses off during the "Sirens of the Sea" part. There were some other people laughing in the theater, but you could mostly just hear some super uncomfortable parents clearing their throats.

I loved this movie. 3-D was intense. (Saw it like that twice.)

  • lol me too! xD

That outfit was wayy unnecessary lol!

  • o geeze... unnecessary's an understatment! that outfit was just plain disturbing.... thats why my mom made us leave... i was bumed...

  • Oh did you really have to leave?

    Sorry bout that! 0_0U

  • This movie was great!!

They didn't "cheese" anything. It was spectacular and entertaining from start to finish!!

  • omg, i saw this in 3D & it was amazing!

it rli looked like stuff was gonna come out & touch u =D

the little boy we took with us was reaching out to try n grab the stuff on the screen lol it was so cute

  • hehe have you ever seen 4D? its really cool they have it at dreamworld in australia and its like... say if sumone jumped in a puddle they would spray water into the audience, and if it was windy they would have rly big fans so u could feel it & all that sort of stuff its really cool

  • holy! i wanna flippen see that!!

  • they have 4D in Disney World at Epcot in honey I shrunk the audience, it's awesome :D

  • I loved this.

    I didn't see it in 3D though! Now i want to !

  • nah the 3-D wasn't all that great in fact it somewhat distracted from the already dimensional claymation. ^_^

  • When I saw the audience reactions, I could have sworn that they were actors, like all those comercials... but I take that back now, cause this movie was insane!

  • when i went there were kids laughing their ass's off at the "SLUG-ZILLA" part

    freakin' annoying

  • Well, it is technically a KIDS movie. As in, rated PG. What did you expect, an adult crowd?

  • well seeing as it was 8:00 at night, yes i did expect a teen crowd at least

  • ..that's EXACTLY why I want "9" to be rated PG-13. I don't want any kiddies spoiling my fun...

  • HAHA! Just but the D.V.D.!

  • It really shouldnt be targeted for 6 year olds. More like 10 year olds. Many kids in the theatre were screaming at the parts with the button eyed people.

  • They were?Lolz I guess me and my friend were lucky..Were both 12 and there was like only 15-18year olds and adults other than us and about 3 other kids

  • Yea Im 12 and I saw more teenagers there lol.

  • Wonderful movie. Definately not what I expected, it was awesome!

  • great movie, not for kids though. it will go over their heads plus its kinda scary

  • Saw it Saturday night with some friends. I must say, it's about time to have stories like this in the animation genre that isn't dumbed down.

  • Crap, I gotta wait a little longer before I can see it. Mum and Dad have been too busy lately. *sigh*

  • Good movie, not intended for small children though, it made me jump like 2 times lol!

  • Loved it! a very spectacular movie!

  • i want to see this sooo bad!!!

  • Can't wait for it to come out!

  • LOL Those people are freakin' lucky.
