Everytime i watch this movie, i feel the entire range of emotions. From gripping fear, to ecstatic jubilation, to extremely sad. This is what quality cinema is like. Great great film.
The "matted film image" of this version of DAS BOOT whe're watching looks like 1.85:1 to me. Some of the scenes, visually measuring i mean, look very good. But i can't help but feel that this motion picture was shot using thee 1.66:1 image spek. Jost Vacano, or Mr. Petersen, could you please clear up this matter? thanks.
