Big doesnt always = heavy.. Loads of comments here saying something like*Wow huge dumbels i couldnt lift that*.. The dumbells he is curling weight 20kg each, and thats not a massive weight. However a good workout nonetheless.

@FeeeeeeeeeeeLing The dumbbells are huge but they are not as heavy as they look. Each dumbbell contains two 10 kg plates plus the bar which is 2kg. Total weight per dumbell = 22kg or 45-lbs roughly. Best!

When he first reached for his dumbbells I thought they would be some normal looking 25's or 35's Iron dumbbells but he picked up dumbbells that were the size of car tires!! LOL
you've got some good techniques there but man thats alot of muscle in your arms, kinda dont look right in my opinion. Are you competing somewhere or smth? I'd like to be more Greg Plitt type, ripped but not huge but thats my way of thinking.

Good exercise selection, but anyone looking for advice should ensure they get a full contraction i.e go through the full range of motion.
Partial reps make it easier for the user, but that's exactly what you want to avoid, you want the maximum stress to the muscle with the minimum stress to the joints and tendons. Going too heavy will lead to tendonitis and wear and tear. This goes for all muscle parts
I've been doing this for the past few weeks and i've seen huge improvements, it gives you a great pump! i first do a set of 12 then move on to a set of 10 then a last set of 8 then i immediateley go onto 21's it's a nightmare, but i love it :P
No one would really be able too concentrate curl a big enough weight too hurt your back, and because the elbow is braced against the knee or inner leg alot of the weight it on the leg anyway :) , they're also doable sat on a bench or something too. Hope this helped :)

i do 100 reps on curls, 100 reps on hammers and 20 good reps on concentration curls with dumb bells that are 20kg.......is that gd? baring in mind also, i do other forms of excercise on a rare occasion.
Dang thats impressive. How can you do concentration curls with the same weight you do hammer curls with, and with no rest? I curl 65's but I have to go way down to 45's to do concentration curls. Nice work.
