only problem is the quality of the seam on the belt effects not good enough .. .soon show l u. l post juke more definition on ndustrial sewing machine...nos so expensive at all
Fab video thank you. I want to start making leather bags, would you recommend the 201 as the best non industrial machine? I was also looking at the 401 and old Bernina's as well but would love your opinion.
Any of the Singer are ok for Leather, Bernina is good but parts are more expensive, most shops carry Singer parts and the repairs are more affordable than Bernina, Viking or Elna. I think the 201, Series 400, 66, 15 Class, 301, 237 and Series 500 are capable of sewing Leather without having to spend lots of money buying a expensive Industrial Machine, however because these are not intended for Leather they might not last a lifetime like the Real industrial ones
@the2560 Thank you so much. I appreciate that. I'm currently looking at a 201k and hope to purchase it this week. I don't mind if it doesn't last a lifetime as they are cheap enough that one can be bought and thrown away every few years if neccesary. Your video's have been so helpful in helping me make a decision, thank you.
