If waterboarding stopped even one attempt it made us safer! We learned valuable information from KSM about how they operate. It made us going after them where they "sleep and eat" and more importantly plot that much more effective, which you agree is what has kept us safe. We got much of that intel initially from KSM and the only other two people we waterboarded!

No, thats not my point. The point is, the government did what they felt was best to get answers to prevent another plane taking down a skyscraper. Think how you felt the day those planes took down the twin towers. Action needed to be taken then, as it still does, to prevent that from happening again.
