i am a beginner and your tutorial is so helpfull thank you im doing a beanie for my daughter and i wanted to add colorful butterflies on it thanks so much
Omg! I love the butterflies and all but that flower granny blanket is going to be FREAKING AWESOME!!! You have now given me yet ANOTHER crochet dream .. I want to learn how to make those flower granny squares!!? Can you tell me where to learn please? THANKYOU for sharing .. So inspiring!
@lovercrochet I found some of the friendship bracelet bags at ACMoore, I think. The bag I show in the video is actually two of the $10 packages combined (pre-craft room, I didn't know what I already had due to disorganization, so I had double of everything). You do tend to need a couple hanks of the thread to finish anything, though.
I know what you mean by about putting together granny squares or any squares. Every time I make one I say never again, but I end up making another. lol
@ladysadies I will! Sadly, I haven't worked on it in quite some time. Hopefully I can get back into the swing of things soon. Stupid work and classes eating up all my fun summer time >:O. Haha. I think it's going to be awesome, though.
@JACQSIErae Aren't they fun! They're so fast to make that you just can't stop. And they're perfect for scrapbooking. I think I'm going to make fun hair clips and headbands out of them. They're pretty versatile.
@TracysTreasures24 Hi, Tracy! TIf you message me, I can send you a link to the rose pattern (YouTube won't let me post the link here - GRRR!). It's super easy. They're supposed to be normal-sized roses, but came out teeny tiny because of the thread I used - which I think just makes them cuter :P Thanks for watching!
yayyyyy!!! arent they sooo fun! im so happy someone was able to make them from my tutie.. (tutorial) lol. & you made sooo many! ive been making soo many the passed couple of days and i feel like my hands are going to fall off. haha. love the flowers. too cute!
@DreamBigLover Thanks :D I know what you mean about your hands feeling like they're going to fall off - thread isn't easy on the hands! Haha. Thanks for posting such a fun tutorial! I've been looking for pretty crochet butterflies for years!

I just found Tina's tutorial and I have been making these butterflies, they are so cute. I don't know what I am going to do with them all, teehee.
How did you make the swirl flowers, they look fun also.
I love your granny square flowers. I have crocheted my squares together instead of sewing them, they wool gives it a border around the whole afgan.
Can't wait to see your finished afgan.
