The overall look was great. The set came out wonderful, but I agree with you. I'm not a fan of the way the curls fell aroud you face. You inspire me to try roller and rod set on my own natural hair. When my protective styling challenge is done I will definately be trying some of your methods. And posting about them on my blog on the Blackgirlwithlong hair forum.

Lovely! You definitely have skills using those flexi rods. I just cannot get the hang of themat all so I gave up, lol. Did you have any trouble fitting these larger rods under your hooded dryer? If not, do you mind telling where your purchased your hooded dryer?

It looked good none the less but yeah, the smaller ones were really cute. The large ones are good to stretch your hair though and I think maybe if you would have continued to seperate them you would have liked it better.

I thought it came out really nice. I can never get a rod set right. I've given up on rod sets. I haven't done one in over a year. lol But I agree the smaller rods look better but they both are nice. You've come a long way in your hair journey!

@glassgloss her hair was curly. she just had it pulled out. my hair does that when i twist and clip it. it looks straighter but it's still natural. :)

Idk what's going on with my head, but I still love it..the thing that kills me is how it looks when it's wet, it really DOES look like I relaxed it, but yet when it's dry it still a really really tight afro and I don't see the difference at all. I'm sooooo confused by that part, if I had straight pieces I could easily clip the damage off but there aren't any straight or wavy/loose pieces when I'm fully dry..IDK!!! it irks me !!

@glassgloss I am still natural, but yes my texture has loosened with all the heat and coloring. I see it when it's wet, but when it's dry it still curls up and shrinks so I'm not sure what the issue is and I'm just as confused as everyone watching lol....I'm not upset, but I'm just taking it day by day for now. I know that I'm not willing to give up my color so I am on a no heat challenge for a long time !!!

@IggyRins Thank you :) and yes it is MUCH looser from the coloring sessions so close together, and/or heat!! *hangs head ashamedly* ... I really think the color is the reason, but with my luck it could very well be the heat 0_O
