  • I was in this video. So many awesome memories!

  • still love this :)

  • Great guitar solo. Due to both acoustic AND electric in same solo= AWESOMENESS

  • Great Song!

  • First heard this in Germany 1990... still rockin it today!

  • 1988? I dont exactly remember, but I was there rockin with 98 Rock and 95 Angels , they all signed my banner. not shown in video because name of song was wrong however everyone signed anyway.Andrew signed my arm Screwed Blued and Tatooed it was awsome.email me if anyone else remembers my banner please..babyfacemaker@gmail.com

  • I LOVE DEFLEPPARD

  • Prechorus is sooo Def Leppard. Awesome song though!

  • this song not only kicks ass but it also one awesome love song.

  • Man is this a good song.

  • Dutch group better, I have the first 2 albums

  • looks like love-wildside

  • Im learning this song and i plan on doing a cover awsome song awsome band awsome era \m/

  • i love this song

  • Hi, Don. How's it going?

  • Saw these guys in 1990 @ Mud Bugs in Tucson right before we deployed to the Gulf.

  • I heard this song on the satellite radio channel Hair Nation

  • hey mathers you dont matter.... can I remind you ozzy metallica priest maiden pantera all came from the 80s plus many more that are generally overlooked by miniscule minded imbicles who think 90s grunge is the bomb.... nothing better than staring at your dirty shoes in never been washed jeans covering a scabbed over body from never showering and crying about how bad your life is but I guess a shotgun cured grunge

  • @Mr08dyna If I don't matter, why did you reply?

Also, I know Ozzy and Judas Priest came out of the SEVENTIES, while Iron maiden and Pantera were fucking 80s scumbags. Not that being in the 80's killed their sound, but their sound was bad to begin with IN THE 80's.

    Reading comprehension, please.

  • @078metalsludge321 Even if I was an overweight pussy who was too stupid to play a guitar, that doesn't mean guitarist is good.

    Do you have comprehension problems?

  • I love this song! Great band!!! Wish I could go back to those times!!

  • I'm so glad the 80s bands with shitty guitars and wussy lyrics are over.

  • @Mmmathers4 Faggot.

  • @Slipknotter8 That has nothing to do with my comment.

  • @Mmmathers4 Who is glad about the end of real music must be a faggot like you. :)

Did you understand now? Or I must make a drawing? Retard.

  • @Slipknotter8 Do you have any idea how ignorant "the end of real music" sounds? There's PLENTY of real music, hundreds of years worth. Just because they don't have shitty guitars and wussy lyrics like Sleeze Beez has, doesn't mean it isn't real music.

Go ahead, make a drawing that attempts to explain why I'm a homosexual for not liking what you like.

  • @Mmmathers4 Well... you are too stupid to understand, forget it, bitch. But yeah, you're a faggot.

  • @Slipknotter8 Leave it to a Slipknot fan to call the kettle black.

  • @Mmmathers4 So what. :D

Little faggot, stop giving views to music you don't like and go suck nowadays musicians' cocks. "shitty guitars"? You must be REALLY retarded. Ok, you hate 80's music and you think their guitars are bad, right? So make a video of yourself playing better than Batio or Keifer and show it to me? Deal?

    Dumb bitch. ¬¬

  • @Slipknotter8 I may accidentally give more than one view to a video I don't like, but that is because I have to come back and listen to the shitty song while replying.

    1) How must I be retarded to not like sloppy fingering?

    2) I do not hate 80's music, I hate 80s bands with shitty guitars and wussy lyrics (hair bands, and the like. see my very first comment)

    3) Do you have to be a five star chef to know when an apple is rotten? No. Do I have to play guitar to know when these guitarists are bad?

  • @Mmmathers4 You are such an smartass. :)

You hate "hair" bands then? You think that their guitars are shitty? :P

Batio started playing in a hair metal band, so that makes you think that his guitar playing skill is shitty, right?

Well... let me tell you one thing: most of the best guitarists in history are known for playing in glam metal bands. :)

I can give you a hundred names, such as Slash, Batio, Malmsteen, Keifer, Dimebag (yeah, Pantera used to be glam!), Van Halen, ETC.

  • @Slipknotter8 I was getting ready to say u forgot Dimebag! Lol until i got to the bottom lol but yea seriously that guy doesnt no what hes talking about

  • @MrBarnett420 Yeah, it is really sad to know that most people today don't know about real music. That makes me afraid that someday the real music will be forgotten forever, but we should show it to our children/grandchildren and hopefully they will like it, because the 80's blood is in their veins!

  • @Mmmathers4 And before you misread and get me wrong again, I said "MOST of the best guitarists in history are known for playing in glam metal bands.", I did not say ALL. I know that there are other good guitarists out of the glam style, such as Hendrix and Jimmy Page.

  • Super Pelotazo d los buenos!!!!!!

  • SUNDAY 1989 FALL WEATHER AS I REMEMBER

  • Una de mis bandas favoritas...!!

  • Damn Andrew Elt is so hot...! :p Eye candy for us ladies! Amazing band, amazing song!!! Rock on!

  • I remember hearing this song around the time that I graduated high school. It's one of those songs that will never get old and like a time machine, it just brings you back.

  • 1989 Summer

  • wish ud come to muncie, ind.

  • cool very COOL ....

  • Songs like this are the epitamy of the 80's. That's when there were guitar heroes and music was real.

  • I Miss this song and this era!!!!!!

  • Tampa my ass!! They're from the Netherlands.

  • The singer looks like a Death Metal singer lol.

  • @LORDGOAT1976 Are you saying that because he resembles John Tardy from Obituary? lol you're right though...

  • @LORDGOAT1976 in a few shots, he looks like Michael Bolton crossed with Fabio, in other words, kind of a homo

  • This song came from one of my favorite rock albums! Love it!!!

  • 1989

  • i cant fuckin wait to see them - i hope this tour is more the just a reunion thing - amazingly rad song too!

It's funny but it makes you feel good but sad guz you can't go back to those days

Anyways I'm glad to hear the song again

  • This is truly a great band. I miss the 80's. These guys are form Tampa, too. That kicks ass!

  • I've got a BONER right now...

  • I listen to this album at least once a week!

  • I was in NJ years ago with my girlfriend @ the time visiting her family (not always fun) & talked her into driving an hour to Newark, NJ. to see the band at some 3 level club and they were great. A few years back I found the Live In Tokyo CD & grabbed it. I definitely dig the band & I know the chances of them coming to the US are slim, I'd go to a show the next time I'm in Europe & they were playing. Been to a few Festivals (Wacken & Fields of Rock) so far & will be at more.

  • the 9 people who do not like this can eat a big pile of shit to

  • Its awesome to hear this again! Been too long...Sleez Beez rocked!

  • Its awesome to hear this again! Been too long...

  • Dudes this song STILL pisses me off! Great song but we were covering it many years ago in Cedar Rapids, Ia. I was playing bass...Our stage monitors went out right as I started the intro! OMG! What a disaster! Playing this intro in pitch black in a house of 2000 and all you have to go on is the reverberations from the back wall! It was a NIGHTMARE! LOL!

  • GONNA SEE YOU GUYS FRIDAY IN PARADISO!!!

  • I was in Tampa for this...I wanna say that it was 04.01.1990, cause it we went for my birthday. it could be a the day before or after, but i'm pretty sure it was 04.01

  • i was 16 when this tune i came across this tune on a tape i may have bought at a gas station while driving across Canada, but i really did listen to it for like fuckin ever! by the way, i am 34 years old now, and have still remembered this song enough to be commenting on it now. Of all the music i have listened to and all the bands i have seen, i never forgot this one. thank you to the guys who recorded it for giving a young fucker soooo much enjoyment. in my top 10.

  • The mutts de la nutts of a rock song.... Ahh the good old days!

  • Great song!

Music is timeless! That's why people love it! When your here a certain song it has the power to bring you right back where you were years ago, man its like a time-machine sometimes! Great music never dies!

  • bad ass!!! i was at this video shoot at the tampa theater. good times!!!!

  • The problem with bands like this back then, they were everywhere and nothing set them apart from the rest. I mean, do not get me wrong ,I like it, especially now when there is no loud pure rock bands anymore. No more arena rock. But realistically, these guys were a dime a dozen.. Tattoo Rodeo, Asphalt Ballet, Tangiers, Winger, Slick toxic, Tyketto, Baton Rouge, LA Guns, Leatherwolf, Shotgun Messiah and many more. They all sounded good but just overkill... It is great though to here them again..

  • Mr. Van Spall, as a dutch, how much importance was the influence of Van Halen in your music?

  • one of my favorite videos when i was in high school those were the day's of real good music!!!

  • I can't remember the date but, I remember running and gathering my friends to make it to the gig when I heard about it on 95ynf.

  • I can't remember the date but, I remember running and gathering my friends to make it to the gig when I heard about it on 95ynf.

  • Still got the album, saw the gig in De Tagrijn in Hilversum. Good times!

  • awesome song

  • i had forgotten how great this album was! so glad i found this again. going to iTunes now!

  • How about a "best of"?

Where can I get s.th. like that?

    Greetings from Berlin

  • great tune! haven't heard it in ages!

  • i remember these guys from headbangers ball days...one thing I liked about the band is that they did not come off as a Euro act, I thought they were American until I saw all the dutch names...not many Euro metal acts back then were able to look and sound as American as these guys....

  • that would have been around the beginning of 1990.

  • 5/19/90 Tampa, Florida

  • One of my ALL-TIME fav songs!! Great album!

  • Thank you very much!!

This is reminding me of a time when I didn't know things I know now, but I loved life as well as I do now, and yes, for the same reasons... it's like magic...

I just knew this song, I never knew what band it was. A little place in the underground, some kind of "rock disco", but not much bigger than a bar and maybe 20 seats or so, it existed in the early nineties in my hometown in the south of germany. There was this DJ, named "Brooks"...

  • @wutausliebe

...such a handsome young man. I was about 19 years old, and I liked him so much... but his girlfriend was so pretty! Blond hair and so cheeky...

That time I still didn`t know anything about love.

But this song, it was pure magic.

I danced on this little dancefloor not like a virgin, believe me!!

Thank you very much for that good times, it was the soundtrack to a mysterious

world, which I discovered about half a year later with one of the best guitarplayers ever.

  • one of best albums I ever had

  • Hi Don! Thx for posting. Hope you're well. - Monica Ice

  • heerlijk Don, a trip down memory lane, lang niet meer gehoord dit nummer. blijft mooi

  • Very cool song--one of my favorites from the early 90's...

  • Wow, I forgot how good this was

  • Ik moet ze echt een keer live zien. Sleeze Beez is geweldig. Hopen maar voor meerdere shows in de toekomst

  • Seen this band open for Skid Row in 1991 @ The Roxy in (Buckhead) Atlanta!! One of the best shows EVER!!

  • YYYYYUUUUMMMYYYY!!!!!!!!

  • grunge killed em' all, wtf

  • @smtdkampar Grunge didnt kill this music, stupid people liking grunge killed it in the mainstream.

  • I seen these guys on my Birthday at the rocket club in Tampa (What I remember of that night). May 18 1988 I think give or take a year! Love the song and they rock!

  • OMG - Donny? The same Donny I met in Holland eons ago!!! If you are, I'm Cathy - the Aussie girl that came to the Hilversum studio the night you guys finished recording Screwed Blued and Tattooed! Are you you?!?! I have some amazing photos of that night and still recall it, minute by minute (!) - what a blast! Hope you are well, hope Andrew and Chris and the rest of the boys are well - you've never been forgotten. By the way, I married the Dutch guy I was at Hilversum with!

  • This is one of my alltime favorite Sleez Beez songs...it's so cool to come on youtube and hear music like this again!

  • ..però il cantante è brutto..ecco..

  • Good stuff bro! I have this album on cassette LOL! Wish I could get Screwed as a ringtback tone from Verizon. You guys make your way to Boston let me know...

  • This is real music,,2 Thumbs Up !!!

  • Man, I still love this song.

  • I don't agree that grunge killed rock and roll, record execs did thinking grunge was the next big thing. Grunge fell by the wayside like Tiny Tims Tip Toe Thru the Tulips and now rock and roll is making a huge resurgence.

  • I saw them live yesterday opening for Aerosmith in Holland!

They were awesome! no single false tone and they were all in great shape like the time soot still.

I also bought the Sleeze Beez t-shirt the same one that Andrew Elt was Wearing in this video.

I hope I get to see them live again they are so good!

  • going to see them in concert today in Arnhem, the Netherlands!

  • i saw the first and come to the socond backstage i know them in real life and gona jamm with them

  • Yeah jullie zijn terug! Gefeliciteerd met openen voor Aerosmith! Toi,toi, toi! Have a great gig!

  • in this 10 min i have discovered amazing bands.. damn it !!!

  • jullie muziek is echt tof ik hoop dat ik jullie 23 juni

    kan zien samen met aerosmith.

  • Yeah Acdcgirl, its like Sebastian Bach said back in the early nineties.Grunge rock is like the revenge of the nerds. Only wounded real rock n roll.Rock can never die.

  • You Know I Got This On My Favorites And Is A Great Song. The First Time I Heard It Was 20 Years Ago And Still One Of The Great Ever

  • Wow! I have not heard this in years, great song back in the day. Still really cool.

    Big D

  • Can't seem to leave a comment?

  • Wow! I have not heard this in years. Great song back in the day, still is a good song.

    Nice!

  • Wow! I have not heard this in years. Great song back in the day, still is a good song.

    Nice!

  • Damn, this song still sounds so good after all these years..... 2 Thumbs Up !!!

  • Great song! I just HAD to go to the music store to buy the CD when I heard it the first time on the radio. :D

  • My 2 cents. In my days music was music. At some point the media started gathering types of music and stuck it in to little boxes and labeled it. As soon as you start thinking out of little boxes you get these types of discussions. I, for example, hate the term "Retro". Is Mozart retro? Music is just entertainment.

  • @donvanspall I agree with you. I miss it alot. I can't even keep up with the new labels. I just want to hear music. Kids in this generation missed out. One of my stepsons and others his age are flocking to our music. He tells me have you heard of this band?( band being from my era) ..and I say yes I have all the albums. Its great! Its sad when you hear a young kid saying nothing is on the radio. They love our music. Maybe my dreams of a rock revolution came true.lol Thank you for coming back!

  • @donvanspall Not like "LADY CACA" or any of that "American Faggot" crap the media is trying to cram down our throats nowadays!! This is the "Good Stuff"!! Fuck that new crap!!

  • @donvanspall don i hear you on that. Whenever art is sold to tthe masses, companies assume that it has to be commercialized and labeled. i hear these terms like " classic rock" and " Glam Metal" etc etc. It's just music. i just listened to rolling stones " monkey man" and Elvis's " A Little less conversation". I've alway had div erse musical tastes. Then, after my preamble, for my adrenaline fix, I go to Sleeze Beez. Sorry for the ego stroke, but hey, you deserve it.

  • @donvanspall

Dude you are amazing. I have preached the same thing for years. Retro should be deleted from the english language. As far as I am concerned there is good music and there is bad music. Some of it is from back then some of it from now, and some of it will undoubtedly be created in the future. Fuck Retro, and Vintage, Kickass is kickass no matter what the time period.

  • first of all. who coined the term grunge? to me it was alternative music and it existed way before glam. it existed while this glam crap was entertaining the easily entertained. good riddance to that crap. Punk, not the radio crap punk, and alternative bands has continued to exist. why? figure it out for yourself. the answer is not hard. so grunge - to you, alternative - to me, did not kill anything. try finding out what is cool instead of having the radio and mtv spoon feed crap.

  • 198? FIRST,SECOND......16TH

  • underated song!!!!

  • man i just love these guys soo much, not gunna lie, most people think ur a fag if you listen to this music but man are they wrong. LONG LIVE METAL!

  • hey guys, Sleeze Beez is getting back together for one last gig on the 23 of june 2010 in nijmegen (goffertpark) !!!!!!!!!

I should know because i'm Andrew Elt's son so i'm not lying.

    Scott Elt

  • No Grunge bands are also Rock and Roll. I like Sleeze beez but I Like also Soundgarden. both are coming back in 2010....what a great Rock and Roll year.

  • Who cares about Weezer and the Screaming Trees when we've got White Lion and of course the SLEEZE BEEZ!!

  • I love this band and I love this song!

  • awesome song thnx 4 postin it

  • Omg sleez beez are back they will open up for aerosmith in holland june 23 2010 !

  • Thanks for posting this. this tune brought back so many memories of my youth. still rock. bring back the 80's!!!

  • OMG I LOVE IT! AWESOME BALLAD!

  • The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who and Sleeze Beez.

You gotta admit, that's pretty funny LOL. And this is their best song?

  • Kick ass video! These guys are getting back together for a show in June, in Holland, with Aerosmith. Too bad it's not in the states, would be a killer show. Cheers.

  • This was popular on Dial MTV in March or April of 1990, so it would have to have been filmed in February or prior.

  • Sleeze Beez were a glam metal band formed in 1988 in The Netherlands. They released four studio albums and one live album over an eight year career before disbanding in 1996.

  • Wasn't the singer (Andrew Elt) in the Poison video for "Nothin' but a good time" as the dishwasher?

  • Thoze were the dayz !!

  • Heard this on XM. Man what a great dynamic song. Sounds like a Bob Rock production.
