  • none of this is going to happen if we continue with this copyrighted shit. we cant even see this video in full.. WDF?

  • all I have 2 say is WOW, he really thinks we are going to be able to read each others mind, N a chip in our heads we will b less n less human. this is not my idea of living!!!!!!!

  • ohhhh my gawd that was fuckin wacky time travel story!!!

  • bullsh*t technograndiosity propaganda, you think those who have actual power in this world will use all the information and technology for the common peoples benefit? Ahh...hell no they wont. Dream photographs in court cases. Your toilet info used to increase insurance premiums. Screw you Dr Kaku.

  • @670Kiester Optimism is a necessary evil. =P Imagine a world full of realists? How depressing would that be?

  • Comment removed

  • he is funny

  • I want that cubicle!

  • 2030..no..2070 maybe, more like 2100 since the world will suffer a massive energy crysis

  • @drinkbudyXD That information has already been factored in. You are listening Michio Kaku. Nothing escapes his notice. He IS genius incarnate.

  • @Realmslover nope, not really ,he didn't factor in what will be available on the market for general use,or available resources, all of what he is saying could be possible in that amount of time but not like that, trust me,i'm a genius too, well at least according to IQ's,

you have to remember that the world is very fucked up and it will get much worse

  • this dude is overeacting....he is just mad cuz he`ll die before all this cool stuff

  • aint gonna be a 2030 buddy...sorry

  • Why is everyone in this audience, including this hokey host with a Ph. D (probably in geology), a total moron? This man is the foremost expert in theoretical physics and they are asking him about old school quantum theory and the Internet.

  • at like 19:00 he is basically describing some of the stuff we already have today

  • @CitizenOccidens He's Japanese.....

  • @ExpertMP5 And Japan is a part of Asia, which means that he's Asian.

  • seems weird to hear an asian saying he invented all of those things

  • @CitizenOccidens

Our hayday of innovation ended in the 80's. Most tech we enjoy these days was developed in Asia. You should see the crap that is coming out of Cal Tec these days. We American Caucasians are by far an inferior race when it comes to academics.

  • @cyclesurge0n With the advent of the global networking that we all share no one is really left in the dark in an industrial nation we all buy the same crap and are aware of the crap being made for the consumers of the world. It has nothing to do with race, if you are still buying the race playing a part in inteligence then you are ignorant and behind the times even in your ignorance, maybe culture but race....really?

  • This man is literally a genius.

  • @AltHQ AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHHAHAAHHA.

  • I hope Youtube and this video are up 18 years from now so that I can watch it on my contact lens and see how much stuff did dr. Kaku get right.

  • 1:00:46 - 1:00:50 lol and it happened (SOPA)

  • Holy mother of god, I wish this shit happens in 2030, it means I'll be only around 40 then. Fuck yeah!!!

  • pov sex just got better

  • i think this guy is misusing moore's law.

    Moore's law has a limit.

and chips won't become "cheaper than barcodes"

  • @NoNiceNamesLeft How can you tell?

  • I'm glad there are people alive like this. It makes me a little less concerned about how bad the world is now.

  • starts @ 5:40

    u r welcome

  • So TimeLords are a type IV civilization ?

  • Very Educational.

  • BrainGate. Exactly why I am going to get a doctorate in Neurology.

  • Intelligent and Humor, the best combination! Thank for the lecture!

I saw his TV show, the way how his and many other scientists' theories come alive is amazing! I loved it, this just round up how we human evolve from one generation to another.

Nothing is really impossible, just takes time.

  • 2:35 "This is professor Kaku, who is a distinguished professor at the city college." *snigger*

  • Imagine...your internet contact lens fritzes out...on your eyeball!

  • is he an entertainer or a scientist?^^

  • is he an entertainer or a scientist?^^

  • hes illuminati

  • @69jdwalt Grow up.

  • @69jdwalt

Thats what I thought immediately aswell.. (if they even exist) Also worrying is the laughing of the audience at lectures like these. Seems like they'd swallow anything.

  • I love this man, he's brilliant. Although... Do we want this? Do we want to be controlled, and obsessed with technology? I think if and when this happen, i believe that more human obsessions will dominate, since that's what we crave. You all know how nice it is to come away from all technology and the city and just go and relax with the actual nature. I think and believe that this may happen, this future that he claims we will have. But i don't think that it will be worth more than the nature.

  • @hehehellothere What do you mean? The advancement of humanity, at least to me, is a lot more beautiful than any nature (on earth that is)

  • @gtas321 I just think it seems a little scary. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm facinated about this stuff, that's why i watched this video. But to be so controlled and to be lost in the technology is scary. Don't you think the Nature is worth more than any ipad or computer or whatever? If people don't think that, i worrie about the earth.

  • @hehehellothere I don't think you understand what it means exactly. By "controlled by technology" it has nothing to do with ipods and TV. We mean humanity will cease to be human due to extreme advancements in cyborg technology. It has nothing to do with technology that entertains us. And to me, the advancement of humanity is more important than earth's nature...

  • @gtas321 Okay, didn't really meant "Controlled by technology" Just meant than we're and going to be even more "obsessed". But whatever :P :)

  • @hehehellothere With how small technology is getting, it will eventually become pretty seemless I think. So you can go wander around the woods if you want, and technology will be there waiting for you of course, but it won't be obvious till you call on it.

  • @Waywardpaladin Haha, don't get so offended, I'm just saying that we're getting to dependent on technology. I'm not talking about wander around in the woods, i'm talking about whats human, and i just think that being creative, and work with your hands, DO STUFF will be worth more than having a super ipad thing.

  • @hehehellothere Not sure why you thought I was offended? I was just trying to assuage your fear. But in regard to another comment of yours, I don't find some arbitrary value in Nature versus something manufactured. I ENJOY nature, and actually hate large cities. But the random state of the Earth that we found at any given time, and it has changed many times, isn't inherently more valuable. You don't think people use ipads and such to do creative things?

  • i can spend the whole fucking day just sitting here and listening to this man.

  • @sagar246246 I am sitting here,this is my 8th video O_O cant stop

  • 22:08 - totally right

  • he mind fucked me with the time traveler being his own family tree

  • lets see if we even make it to 2020 first

  • The guy in the vid has no idea who kaku is huh?

  • 20 years in future, why the hell we're gonna have to type? What'll happen to all the million dollar projects that involve voice recognition?? This guy is a pure genius, but he could be real funny sometimes!

  • we used to be a type I civilization until fossil fuels turned us into a type 0 civilization, although I have much respect for Dr. Kaku and his incessant drive to inspire the public I do think his vision of the future (i love how he says the word future) is a little kuku. By 2030 I believe we will have a monster of an energy crisis, maybe by 2500 the future will arrive

  • @MrPentatonicScale If you think that we will EVER have a real energy crisis, let me remind you that E=MC2 . There is no more possibility of a REAL energy crisis than a MASS crisis. Keep listening to the main stream media, stay stupid.

  • Can you imagine what could EMP / solar flare do to that kinda nation that is so independent on the internet.

Imagine all the viruses, ads, someone can hack in to you and steal your identity.

Maybe some sort of mind control thing could be possible

Future plastic surgery could be not just fixing your nose and boobs but to make you more Transhuman

There are lots of different threats in the future

  • @wexa89 the fuck you talking about? advances in science is the problem, its us who are the problem. Take for instance splitting the atom. It wasnt a problem till we started blowing each other up with it rather than using it as an endless source of renewable energy.

The future threats of the world are "trans-humans" lol and hackers. I really wish people like you stopped voicing their opinions. It seems the future is indeed bleak

  • @MisterRainCloud There is always someone that want's to abuse the system / gain more power over someone else you have to be very naive not to see that.

and yes even today hacker can start nuclear war. Every human built system given enough time can be abused that's just the way it is

There are huge security / privacy problems

And you have to remember today 5 billion people don't have the internet connection

It's only privilege to rich at the moment.

  • @wexa89 Im working on getting my 4 yr degree in network security and i can tell you that a monkey, if taught, can steal your identity or get information on you. This problem wont get any better as time goes on either. It will always come down to whether or not someone has his best interest at heart or the majority. I cant say i trust people either, theyre irrational and selfish

That said, im sorry for jumping on you earlier. I know now where you are coming from

  • @wexa89 Cont. And as corny as it sounds "with more power comes greater responsibility" which there's alot of truth to that. And with science progressing at the speed of light, we shall see if we even deserve to coexist with one another

  • Imagine people installing augmented reality horror games into those lenses.

  • Kaku will be just as wrong as people in the 1900's

  • @JesusSmurf lol you didnt watch the video, did you?

  • fuck this current time, I was born too early to experience the future

  • @xXxPr0nxXx i bet you in any time we will say the same =) things just get amazing day by day

  • @xXxPr0nxXx how old are u now?

  • @xXxPr0nxXx Really? You are over 30 years old?

  • @xXxPr0nxXx at least we can be the old people of the future to say "back in my day"

  • @xXxPr0nxXx what the fuck ever. My grandparents lived through the advent of television.

  • hmm most people on the internet are women? alright thumb up women let's see how many of you there are

LOL jk, they're more busy looking at videos on how to cook stuff

    LOL jk

  • 5:25 Dr. Michio Kaku

  • i cant imagen battlefield 18

  • Why cant the world be run by scientists not bankers

  • @makkasjakkas45 would you let nazi scientists dictate your life? the world would look like a giant human centipede zone.

besides, anyone who's trying to 'rule' over anybody else is a psychopath anyway. if you don't believe me, look at the world today...

  • @utubearenazis erm... no son not nazi scientists. i disagree with religion and governments i believe in science and progression. Just the fact of your name and the fact your brought the words 'Nazi' and "Human centipede' into video about the future world vision by one of the greatest minds of our time says to me your just a very ill-educated scared person... which just makes me feel sorry for you friend.. welcome to the year 2012. We can learn from past mistakes or make them again your choice

  • @makkasjakkas45 my point is, there is good and evil in this world, and always has been. scientists do have brilliant minds, no doubt about that - but, one can make a caure for cancer while the other makes anthrax.

intelligence is not a guarantee for a better world. IQ is not enough, you also need EQ (and a good heart of course)

  • @utubearenazis *caure - cure (my bad)

  • Hey, I watch all presentation too... Why in hell cant I have refreshments too?

  • Self-driving cars, what a revolutionary mode of transportation for the handicap.

  • I was skeptical as many of you find yourselves now. Watch Sci Fi Science there are a lot of instances where there is talk of unimaginable things to come. Then a minute later he is at the lab or research center demonstrating the unimaginable things for which he speaks of!

  • It sounds very positive and all... but more and more i'm thinking that all of that really won't get through.

I just don't see it happening and reach the general community.

  • Does he really believe his own hype? I imagine he's out fishing for celebrity stardom and higher name recognition and ratings.

  • i'm sorry but this seriously sounds like one of steve ballmer's late-90s rants.

  • @reinux But this guy knows what hes talking about.. because its him and his friends building this stuff... not just guessing

  • GPS isn't accurate enough for cars to drive themselves

  • It's Jim stupid lmao

  • @killerkerara i know this is a late response but first of kid was 17, secondly his experiment was almost completely based on a book. Third the matter did not reach critical mass therefore it does not work, and finally he exceeded the lifetime amount of thorium radiation. And afterwords he was caught for larceny and is in therapy. Genius

  • DREAM ON SHEEPLE

  • @tOOballs get lost

  • fashion victim

  • This really makes me want to switch my major from Justice to Physics or other sciences... I really want to play a role in the future.

  • nice way to control the people. . . . FU NWO!!!

  • @Xnac84 nwo is bullshit

  • are you crazy.. glasses.. seems like contacts would be more realistic or even tiny implants. glasses. come on i am so disappointed.

  • wow. didn't know that about Lewis Carroll

  • 5:40

  • im the type of person that like to chunk evey important thing he said, like im so interest in this field that i want to explore everything he said, like i want to explore every galaxy of the hubble ultra deep field.

  • This guy is boring.

  • @Fredssogay shut up kid, go play in traffic.

  • @Fredssogay go back to your trash vids, commenting on girls tits then :3 byyyyeeeee

  • Michio Kaku dropping knowledge LIKE A BAWS!!!

  • Haha, this guy is great. "Before I start, I'll diss Madonna xD!"

  • 15:12 "It's over 9000!!!!!!" Anybody reminded of this?

  • @DustinFarleyTV yup ;)

  • he should rule the world

  • his example for the wormhole theory doesnt make sense on a biological standpoint. Even you had a sex change, you can't change your sex organs or chromosomes you were given during birth. So mating with yourself wouldnt make any sense at all.

  • So he/she screwed him/herself. I guess it's safe to say this person just masturbated.

  • 51:35

    Funny Einstein Joke

  • Is there any way to get the video from 0:28:36?

  • WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF TOMMMMMMMMORROWWWWWWW

  • If this is the future, it will be for the elite and rich. This world has so many poor, so where do the poor fit into this world of technology.........now I understand why the financial crisis is happening. The global elite are developing the world to their requirements....poor do not come into the equation.

  • @0n0u2 well many years(20-30) after these thing happen, then the average people and MABEY some of the poor people might have these. history tell us that

  • @directorzwannabe I hope for the best, but as it is the average man is becoming the next generation of the poor because of the financial crisis.........its food for thought

Dr Kaku is an amazing man to listen to.... thought provoking.

  • Yoda will be the incarnation of Michio Kaku.

  • he should run for president of the united states, i would vote for him

  • Could these future theories be more abhorrent than the future alluded to in Zeitgeist 3 ... unless we change?

  • Yup. Not gonna happen.

  • Mindfreak: 40:49

    Joke: 9:05

    Joke: 5:53

  • I heard Michio Kaku so much that I can pretend to be him as he's my show fur.

  • The wall screens remind me of the movie Fahrenheit 14.

  • Must go to bed, but too interesting.

  • 1234

  • Pornography? Rea??y?

  • Oh hey, Assasins' creed will be used as an augmented reality for tourists in Rome :D

  • Story at 48:42 LOL hilarious!!

  • Big Brother likes this video.

  • Bloody Discovery channel!

  • Terminator vision, give it to me. Now

  • Fucking pigs laugh like hes talking out his ass when i bet they already have functioning prototypes

  • "In the future, intelligence will also disappear. . ."

That is the only insightful thing he said during the lecture.

  • Is that Pedro's dad in the beginning? rofl

  • He said retarded

  • Judging by those concept images, the future is going to need designers as well ;)

  • 6:53 haha this guy is hilarious

  • 1:01:30 Well Im not laughting now

  • When Michio starts talking about the internet/subtitle glasses, all I can think is, "SHUT UP, AND TAKE MY MONEY!!" Except that I really enjoy listening to this man...

  • its Engineers not physicists making the stuff

  • @Edwrath yeah but its physicists that tell engineers what to build

  • You did not create the laser.

  • Comment removed

  • This is a scientist for a secret society called..ILLUMINATI>>HONG KONG chapter

  • @TheJonra lol

  • 5:39 (Michio Kaku will explains why)

  • @26:36, he says genome sequencing costed $50,000 and it will "one day" cost $1000. It now costs around $1000 to get your genome sequenced. Creepy prediction. On the money.

  • intel sucks

  • Render the video at 5:50 hehe

  • I trust my toilet more then my doctor

  • i just wanna sit down and shoot ideas back and forth lol not that i would be able to put into words.....but perhaps he would know what i was talking about.and direct me.

  • God dammit, why does he keep saying 18 months when he talks about Moore's law. Even Intel says it's 2 years.

  • @HenrikAH92 Intel is wrong, its 18 months

  • @MrSpyguy96 "The period often quoted as "18 months" is due to David House, an Intel executive, who predicted that period for a doubling in chip performance (being a combination of the effect of more transistors and them being faster)" //wikipedia

    NOT Moore's law.

And Moore was one of the founders of Intel, so if someone would know what he said its them.

  • @HenrikAH92 since their invention in 1958, the density of components in each chip had doubled each year, and this trend was, he suggested, likely to continue for at least a decade. In 1975 Dr Moore modified his prediction, observing that component density was doubling every two years. In practical terms, the result is that personal-computer performance doubles every 18 months, and has done so for decades

  • YAWN..

  • @3DiDgEtZPLAY You just proved yourself unintelligent.

  • It's nice to see a brilliant person who also has a personality.

  • @wburton16 Yea, seeing a brilliant person is rare enough as it is, but a one with personality ...

  • Perfection
