Anyone who owns a home or rents one PAYS county, municipal, and school board taxes for hospitals, fire, police, schools and other services. "Illegal alien" are also NOT EXEMPT from paying sales & excise taxes, government licenses, vehicle tags, highway tolls, civil fines, traffic tickets, and other fees.
If "illegal aliens" didn't have to pay taxes, YOU'D probably be the first to apply for "illegal alien" status. With all due respect, GET REAL, please! In America, only the rich don't pay taxes.

Thank you for doing your job. He was arresting them for a crime they commited. Upon finding out they were here illegally, he contacted the proper authorities. Why anyone would wish ill of him is beyond me. Aposl07--are YOU here legally?

I feel for the illegals who are wanting to find a better life..but just by virtue of being illegal they set themself up for problems...it's the gang members,and evil doers who I have a problem with, and evil doers are legal and illegal...I hope the illegals who are trying to have a better life and want to do so by becoming legal, this is a protection for them.

One of the things that made this country great was rule of law framed upon on our Constitution. When the only ones who bother to obey the law, or upon which the law will be enforced, are the real citizens, we can expect only one outcome. That is the slow and steady disintegration of the rule of law and destruction of this nation. If they want work there are the proper channels to go through, or better yet, maybe they should do something to improve their own country...are they too lazy to do the work? Thank you for pointing out just one more problem area of enforcing our laws against illegal immigrants. I wish more people would band together and take care of this issue once and for all. No amnesty should be granted and no reform is needed except to put an end to the anchor baby problem. We should enforce the laws that are already on the books.
