Android has more apps, but windows 7 is more "smooth" from what i've heard. IF your planning to get a windows 7 phone get a samsung focus. Has a better battery life a clear speaker and a better display (imo)

The extra space for the keyboard in landscape mode is there so that the keys themselves are in the center of both your hands, not the center of the screen.

Nice video, but it would be nice if you had it narrated by someone who speaks articulately and pronounces words correctly. I'm more likely to watch a product review video when I can understand everything that the person is saying without having to back up the video multiple times to re-listen to someone who's slurring or skipping syllables of words.

I wish the surround didnt have the speakers so it could be thinner, but other than that the HTC surround is superior

@nekku19 Yes it does, when the reviewer talks about the power button at the top of the device, it doubles as a screen lock (standby) button. After which you slide to unlock just like every other smartphone. I've had this phone for over a week and i love it!

@soccerdude6327 You probably won't believe me, and many others will call me a liar but, I was going to get a Focus but got a Surround instead because the demo unit that the AT&T store had on display had the Windows Phone 7 logo and the home screen tiles burned into the screen from staying lit up so long. I know AMOLED screens are nice and all but, the LCD screen on a surround just seemed more crisp, not to mention THE SPEAKERS. Holy crap the speakers are amazing.

@koltonkj26 what it has is that as the main screen. Such as the iPhone has its icons for app's. You can set a wallpaper for the lock screen, just as the iPhone does. But as far as customizing the homescreen, witch you see with the tiles. You can change the tiles colors, i dont know witch exactly, but so far ive seen them blue,yellow,and green. And you can also change the screen behind the tiles from either black or white. Hope that helps. Thats about as much as i know. =).
