I am far from a hard core smallie guy but here are a few of my favorite....skitter pops, buzzbaits, tubes, spinnerbaits, and hair jigs.

Generally speaking the smallies do. In some lake the LM fight harder than in others....but overall the smallies pull some mean drag....river or lake.

i heard down south a largemouth fights realy harrd propaly because their bigger but iny way it looks like you enjoy largemouth better

I enjoy LM more just because there are so many more lakes up here that have LM in them. There are only a handfull of lakes & rivers that have smallies in this area.

huh, it's the other way around here in NEPA.

We were in my friends RiverPro jet boat....no prop. We hit a couple of the dead heads going down river but we hit those on purpose. If they are facing down river the boat just pushes them down.

jigs, spinnerbaits, and Case Plastics Fat Tubes. The Fat Tubes are an awesome bait when chasing smallies!
