  • I LOVE THIS ALBULM this and empty sky and reg strikes back ALL UNDERATED

  • thats significances of the box w weird colors

  • I never knew he made a video for this song! A great song from a vastly underrated album! One of his best!

  • I think this song shows eltons true musical talent. I also think that Chloe is his most underrated songs ever. And all of this coming from a sixteen year old kid.

  • wow....makes me remember when I used to buy elton albums when I was a kid around 12 or 13 years. I liked this song a lot....never a hit, never played live :(

  • elton john is the only super-mainstream artist that has so many super-underrated songs, that just few people consider. he's like beyond the human level, I just love his music.

  • This is a Cool Video of Elton! He is in his actual home! I love the song, thank you Bernie and Elton. I have to say it is one of my favorite videos of all. Also another Gem that a lot of people that don't know about. This is also my ringtone!

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    And it's an evergreen affair
    As temptation taunts the fox
    Into the hunter's waiting lair
  • I have this on vinyl. <3
  • One of my favorite Videos! Elton Looks so sharp! I love everything about the video and the song too! Bernie is amazing!
  • Extraordinary !!!!
  • kellie 3060 i've been trying to just find someone incuiding musicians who have even heard of this: this is the purist heart (I believe) of elton John the alpha and omega...these lyrics can bring tears to which some of us can relate. first i ever even heard it I won it on one of those call-in games on a popular Seattle radio station --dj's name was "Wing-Nut" --it was 1981 and it has always been my "heart" where EJ is concerened. Nobody Wins.....each is special
  • Had this on Laser Disk!
  • Underrated song, underrated album.
  • "Some songs are just too irresistible to listen to...." Elton is a (Gem)
    -CJ.
  • Thank you for this amazing video!
  • I have the videos for all songs from "The Fox" album on VCR - it's a video produced by Richard Mulcahy called "Visions" that came out in about 1982.
  • The Fox.. wow... Long time no hear. Chloe...on that one, too..right? I've got an original Goodbye Yellow Brick Road poster in Mint condition for sale plus other EJ goodies if anyone is interested. Contact me if serious. CB
  • This album was unfortnately released at a time when EJ was only just getting back into the stride of things - which is a huge shame because The Fox was a great album with moments of brilliance and I feel his second best album of the 80's behind Too Low For Zero. Great title track too.
  • @ncf1 I've always liked The Fox too. There's nothing really great on it per se and it sounds pretty dated now, but it's a solid album to listen to start to finish. Unlike most of what came after, The Fox actually sounds like some time and care was put into it's production.
  • Beautiful song. Thanks.
  • I like this song on the eponymous album. It sort of reminds me of Sartorial Eloquence, but this is a better song. I also like the lyrics and imagery of the song. The harmonica is very haunting and fits the mood.
  • wow, this takes me back! i remember listening to this in my first car (a mustang) on cassette! great album...thanks for posting!
  • One of Elton's and pop/rock music's most underrated albums. Some powerful songs such as the Fox, Heart in the Right Place, Breaking Down the Barriers - well, if you are on this song you know what I mean. Thanks for posting this one!
  • @intrepidsinger i bought the cd!!! lol i was like 13 or 14 years old...is good I liked it. Liked fascist faces
  • great song. reminds me of Elton's classic years
  • guys i found the video for "heart in the right place"....WOW AFTER ALL OF THESE YEARS!!!
  • Where??? It's one of my all-time favorites and I'd love to see it.  Cheers!
  • One of his best songs for me
  • Anyone ever see the "tele press" conference Elton did (along with Bernie) to promote The Fox? Hillarious stuff, done live in front of an audience of Warner/Geffen sales people.Elton's drinking Budweiser thruout and gets pretty lose with alot of gay innuendo while playing "Fox tracks" for the reps...
  • No I have never seen it but would have loved to! It's probably become quite rare but I wish someone who has it would put it on YouTube.
  • This has always been a top favourite song of mine. I am so glad that you were so kind to have this video out there. Thank you so much, you are definitiely an Elton guru!!!!
  • it's one of my favorite EJ albums, but not his best or really even in the top ten. He referred to it as "I think this album went cardboard" at a concert some years ago before he played 'Carta Etude/Elton's Song'
  • Musically great but the lyrics do ramble on a bit. I've found a video for every track on "The Fox" except for "Heart in the Right Place". Does a video for that song exist?
  • no they dont have a video for that song, which is kind of funny cuz they hav one for all of the other songs
  • There's a video for every song on this album. The video for 'Heart in the right place' doesn't have Elton in it, just a sleazy tabloid reporter typing gossip on her typewriter. I'll show up on Youtube eventually
  • The fox album rocks
    i never seen the fox song videos where all these songs videos release
    the album from 81
    did elton make new videos
  • Yes, arguably the best song off the album, and the coolest video! Very melodic, catchy, and evocative
  • i think its the best song on the album too but i think the "breaking down the barriers" video is the best one
  • Love this sound and Elton's song is another good one that cd. Thx for posting. Anybody get the new album. Captain and the kid? Great one.
  • simply brilliant! the test of a true master- i have not heard this song in 25 years- and still it holds up- thanks so much for the post!
  • Great video!  The young man in this video is absolutely breathtaking.
  • wow! i'm a longtime elton fan and this is awesome! my fav song off the album!
  • I've never seen this one before! Awesome. And it even looks like it was filmed at Woodside (Elton's Windsor home since ages ago), which is pretty neat. :D
  • Somedays your the windshield.....Other days your the bug!! LOL
  • phenomenally under rated...and impossible to download
  • not entirely true
  • I've never seen this before Thank You!!!
  • Do you have the video for Carla Etude or Nobody Wins?
  • no (I search Carla/Etuda and Chloe
  • I have the Video Nobody Wins. Take a look at my channel next week.
  • I have found nobody wins on youtube. So next week I load up "heartache all over the world". Thanks for the Fox Regdwight23.
