  • Alright there! Have you heard the talk about - fast abs magic (do a google search)? Ive heard some decent things about it and my cousin got detailed 6 pack abs and lost crazy amounts of fat with it.

  • Hey there! Have you thought about intellectus diet (google intellectus424dietcom)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my mate lost crazy amounts of weight with it.

  • I run for about a minute and a half, then sit for about 2 minutes. I do this about six or seven times a day. Does walking instead of sitting make a big difference in weight loss?

  • If you don't have a Gymboss, you can just use your iPod and change the stop time of the song to 1 or 2 minutes. This interval training workout is tiring, but I can honestly feel it working after only 1 workout.

  • I have a little bit of excess fat in my lower abdominal. I tried a lot of things to get rid of it, but it won't go away! Please help!

  • This is exactly what I wanted to know because I have asthma and when I was in track in hs i never had an attack and now i feel it slowly coming back so I wanted to expand my lungs again... I didnt realize this why my coach made us do intervals. Thank you soooooo much =]

  • thatsa a really good idea i started doing something like that i did a 1 minute run and a 30 second recovery but your idea seems much better thanx for the advice sarah fit!

  • what i do, is i run on my treadmill. one song i run and another song i walk and i do that for a total of 25 minutes. and then i do stretch bands to tone up my arms. is there anything else i can do to add to my workout?

  • @cellyjelly100 Do you do any core exercises? That's pretty important.

  • @cellyjelly100 I used to do something similar! Don't forget to warm up and cool down - and add songs as you progress, you can also jog instead of walking... lastly on non cardio days remember to do some strength training! and thank you @poopinmicken for helping me answer all these :)

    I have a spondylolistheis of the spine. *sigh* So I've turned back to cycling. I guess I will do intervals on my bike.

  • @olternaut you can do intervals using any cardio machine!

  • I did the interval training and it was awesome! I did it like this: 2 mins pretty fast jogging and 2 mins of a really fast walk. I love raunning but for the last week I can't so it because my foot is hurting. The doctor just gave me pain medication and that I should rest. Since I'm going to London in a week and I'm gonna walk for 9 days straight - sightseeing, I really wanna get my foot into a no pain state as soon as possible - so resting(=no running) it is even tough I'm addicted to cardio:(

  • @rgdvm93 I say do cardio at least 3x a week, max of 5 and do intervals at least one of those days, I do 2 but different variations.

  • Hey so i hav been doing intervals on the treadmill for about a couple of months -i do one minute on and one minute for recover. i usually don't go any longer then 35 mins, but since i use the treadmill it is easier to make it harder with inclines. and i have improved so much from when i first started doing intervals. AND this past weekend i ran i 5K with my friend for the first time and i ran it in about 24 mins (im not a runner,im a swimmer...aka swimmers suck at running)! soo intervals r great

  • Sarah! Hii 1st of im a big fan!! I have a q though i have 4 weeks to slim down just like 4-5 pounds i was wondering if u have any tips for me eg what exercises and how long! Thanks :)

  • Just another tip... when we do intervals at cross country practice I find it really helpful to take deep breaths in through my nose and out through my mouth during the slower parts of the run. We do 3 minutes easy, 2 minutes hard and when I'm really tired after the hard I only focus on breathing properly. This makes me cool down a lot faster so I'm ready for the next fast interval. :)

  • Hi Sarah=) im doing hiit, everyday 5 days a week, I drink a cup of coffee and special K bar like 45 min before, i normally do 15 min or 20 min, sprinting for 1 or 1:30 min then recovery pretty much the same, do u think i need a pre workout meal,if so what would u recommend??

  • @LLROCKS23 haha, they are just doing nothing for you really, empty calories... if you want real energy have some unsweetened dried fruit, an apple or banana, those are carbs too. Another fave is ezekial bread with all natural peanut butter. If you aren't hungry or are not working out in the morning you don't really need a pre-workout snack either.

  • @SarahsFabChannel yeah im usually not too hungry,just pekish, but then after my workout i get really hungry,guess its all the running, thanks so much sarah=) ,gotta get rid of the special k bar now then;) have a lovely day xx

  • Hey Sarah, sometimes I do interval training on a track by running hard for 100 yards, then recovering for 100 yards and repeating about ten times. Does this give the same benefit or should I be sprinting longer?

  • @jenessaphillips It depends on what you are trying to achieve. Speed or weight loss? that is fine to do once in a while, but you should mix it up by adding longer intervals as well. If you do not feel totally drained at the end, you're not getting a hard enough workout, if you do, then that's a great workout!
