@Earych Unfortunately the 'James Bond' of today is a thug. A far cry from the witty, gentlemanly manner of Roger Moore. I am 19, watched my first James Bond when I was about 10. See them all many time but love the Roger Moore ones.

@osaji922 True. This is one of the better, one of the most unappreciated, Bond themes. Incredibly, it finished last in a recent ranking (But of course one has too grant the newer songs favour...). My pick, actually, for the best Bond movie is this: "Octopussy". My favorite of the Connery's was either "Goldfinger", or "You Only Live Twice"... I thought Roger, though, generally did do the better movies. His first was sort of a misfire, as was his last, but the other 5 were strong entries.

When I was a kid, I heard this song well before I was allowed to go to a James Bond movie on the radio and loved it. When I finally saw "Octopussy" and discovered this song was the opening theme (no hint from the title you see), I was very pleased that my favorite song and what was becoming my favorite movie series had come together here. Honestly, doesn't have the feel of a James Bond song (I compare it to "All the Time in the World" on OHMSS as a secondary love theme) But love it anyway.

How times have changed since the 80s and not always for the better. The 80s were certainly more carefree, as people weren't yet the jaded miserable wretches they are today.

I've always liked the theme songs for Bond movies, including this one.

I love Nobody Does It Better but All time high is my favourite James Bond song and one of the most underrated of all the James Bond songs. All Time High is a very sexy and touching romantic song and Rita sung this song with such passion and meaning and it's such a sad shame this song was not a big hit in theUK charts should of done better.
