  • love this song, one of my favourites...

  • This was originally a Georgia Yellowhammer's song. A string band from Calhoun, Georgia around the 30's & 40's. Not a Carter Family song.

  • ffsaffd

  • Y'all should add more videos.

This one is both good and quirky.

Among other things, I like how it is shot through a doorway.

  • Great song - like but Ms Cooper is:

    WILMA LEE and STONEY COOPER.

    Not stoney lee^^.

and originally it was by the Carter Family.

    Thanks for this great video.

  • You are right and I stand corrected. The record I listened to as a kid was Wilma Lee, and I loved it. Thanks for the heads up, the last thing someone wearing a ski mask wants to do is look foolish.

    Thanks for watching!

  • georgia yellowhammers did it first, and wrote it for that matter. first recorded it in 1927.

  • bravo!! I absolutely love this song. I'll try to post a video of my grandpa playing this on the banjo....

  • Well, you can't tell I did

  • I rated it awesome!!

  • Wow, I knew I'd find Springers in ski masks online, but thought that it would be police footage! :) You guys did great! Let me know when you post your next video.

  • great job do more

  • We were debating what kind of response to make, but w but we are speechless. Hoppy & Jer-C :*)

  • hahaha that was awesome! and it looks so fun! I want conga drums now :]

  • truly loved your original rendition of the old tune. The winter attire and conga drums really hits the spot!

  • Cool, you did a good job, and looks like you had fun doing it. Cant wait to see your next video.
