  • The only people who starve to death in this country are the ones who choose to sell their food stamps to buy crack and booze. No one starves in the US unless they choose to.

  • @ytubeeaccount6496 We dont know if she was on drugs or applied for food stamps. Living in the streets with your kids is not a crime

  • @mysteek29

Taking your kids there is a crime because it's neglect - if you're poor and homeless then the right thing to do is to put your kids in foster care or sign custody over to a relative until you have the money to support them.

  • This is plane stupidity, because there are more founds spilling out for single moms then any other non prophet organizations. All she had to do is go to Welfare.

  • I wonder if updated info can show that woman received help and is not reunited with her little ones..I sure hope so..God bless her and her babies i pray..

  • SHAME! help the woman and her children - don't separate them and jail her!

  • Her children are likely in more danger now, and the mother as well-likely not even knowing where her children are.

  • Instead of criticizing this woman people should be focusing on how to help her and her children! Do you really think she wanted to live that way?! It makes me so angry to see people blame the mom and do nothing! People are too quick to judge...I feel for this woman and her children!! I hope she gets some help to take care of herself and her children...

  • this is sick...instead of helping the mom and kids they lock her up, and destroy the future of the kids by placing them in state child agencies...this is why you NEVER call cops if your intent is to help people...cops do not help people, cops only help the corporation maintain status quo

  • Did you hear that? Over 9000!!!

  • ya you fuckers send some more of our American taxation dollars away to another place in the world when we have our own . WHO is CRIMANAL HERE ????????????

i say it is our WASHINGTON DC CORRUPTED LAWYER POLITITIONS................OH and people it will get worse because they want us to be their slaves

  • What about the father who should be helping with these children? If they're going to lock her up then they should lock him up too. Give me a break! What kind of heartless police department arrests a mother for falling on hard times. Where is the compassion?

  • @1QueenLover sorry baby your to late the police already been there and he's bending over a towel rack right now

  • @1QueenLover He could be dead, or in prison, or who knows..It is her and her babies that are in need..

  • THEN VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!! ALL YOU PEOPLE COMPLAINING,VOTE AND CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVES. Y O U ARE RESPONSIBLE !!!! I'M SICK AND TIRED OF YOU NOT DOING ANYTHING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE BUT THEN COMPLAINING AFTER THE FACT!!!

  • @mylani100 , What world are you living in?? Dont tell me you still believe we are in a democratic society ran for the people buy the people? If you do then you are not conscious of the facts of politics, lobbyist and the money driven system that we live in. Shame on you. You are as bad as the cops that arrested the lady. When they found her in that state they should have taken her directly to get help. But no! Millions of foreclosures and empty homes but we still have homeless in USA?

  • WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THE LAND OF THE FREE AND HOME OF THE BRAVE????

IT HAS NOW BECOME A POLICE STATE

  • @limitup58 Exactly! A police a privatized money grubbing filthy country that treats the poor like garbage and raises the rich higher. And when you protest they jail you or kill you. OCCUPY!!

  • If she knew that she would be living in the woods, she needed to either go down to the welfare office and get the help (and she would with three babies) or give those babies to a relative until she got on her feet. I have sympathy for the babies but not for the mom. Moms have the responsibility to make sure at least a roof over those babies' head and regular diaper changes and food for them. Its called do what the hell you got to do to take care of the babies she brings into the world.

  • @bbybyrd I agree partially but when I look at all the single moms that work 2 jobs to feed their kids and are never around to watch them grow- Well that is something that needs to be addressed also. That makes for a society of people who are missing the maternal side of life and makes people sick and social-pathic. Damn if you do damned if you dont right?

  • Comment removed

  • @mysteek29 It is. I was a child of a single mom. My mom worked a stressful 8-12 hour days, came home and crashed. A good part of a single mom's paycheck goes to childcare for those kids too young to be home alone (especially if no child support). I know of a few moms that would be able to cut down to one job if they could get help with child care. Unfortunately there is very few programs and the few that is out there is full.

  • @bbybyrd sorry ran out of space. What makes me irked with the mom in this news piece is that other than maybe Mississippi or Louisiana, the government has programs where a homeless woman with children are given emergency shelter and food stamps and WIC and the paperwork is expedited through so that they don't have to be homeless. It may hurt the pride but at least a roof and food are there for the kids.

  • @bbybyrd there is no single mom

    there is also a dad

but the real problem is our ivy league lawyer buddies in WASHING DC who give away all our our our our our our our oops money overseas

better yet let local government help our people not Federal

all the feds want is our souls........................

  • arrested for living in a fucked up econemy!

  • So now it's a crime to be poor, jobless, and homeless? Instead of arresting her, HELP HER!!!!!

  • ..things happen to people that may not be their fault..maybe something is wrong with her that she can't help..

  • wow

  • what state is this in

  • @MrCantstandliberals This is in Florida.

  • She said: "ear-curdling". I think she meant "blood-curdling". I don't think ears can actually curdle. Hmmmmm..... or can they!?

  • and how does she go to jail for child neglect?! she wasnt living on the side of the street. maybe she had no family to go to. im not saying this was the right or wrong thing for her to do, i dont know the whole story. but instead of arresting her she couldve been helped and stayed with her children

  • find a child that hasnt screamed or cried.

  • Thanks, Obama.

  • @kataisa3

i know right. this is only obamacare, after all.

  • here in the uk there are 2 million homeless people, and there are just over, 1 million , empty boarded up properties not doing anything, i suppose its the same all over the world..disgusting , theres a programme called the propery scandle , please view this on youtube..thankyou mac from uk england..has for the woman they should give people with children and elderly people , more priorty for housing needs , not shove the children in homes and mother in jail..

  • The neighbors ought to be ashamed of themselves. I hope they sleep well at night in their warm beds with their own kids down the hall. What if this happened to them?

  • I it horrid that they threw this desperate woman in jail and ripped her children from her, I am sure that was her worst fear the reason she stayed in the woods! There defiantly has been a crime committed here! Why did they not help her, find a home and give her proper basic human needs to take care of her children? This is a disgrace of inhumanity's injustice!

  • @calmingbrook It's tragic, yes she was desperate, yes she was in fear but innocent? This country is the most generous in the world to it's poor. We give and give and they breed and they breed. Where does it stop? Is there ever any accountability applied to careless, irresponsible people who casually have child after child that they cannot afford to care for?

Accountability ever? Or are we expected to empty our resources to them based on their needs until we have no resources left?

  • @embracingreality You are heartless. You have the nerve to say "It's tragic, yes she was desperate, yes she was in fear" to pretend you care? Careful Karma can get you, you could find yourself in the same situation. I guess you haven't heard of all those people killing their kids instead. You don't know her, so you have no idea what her situation really is or what got her there. What, you think she was getting welfare while living in a wood? How were the checks getting to her? Shame on you.

  • @1caramarie You think thats heartless? If I was in control people like her who neglect their child would have them taken away and be incarcerated. They would only be reunited after volunteering for sterilization. End result would be a 90% reduction in these kind of problems. Logic and action solves problems.

Instead we have people like you using feelings and emotion failing to hold people accountable for bad their choices making these problems 10 times worse.

    SHAME ON YOU!

  • @embracingreality

i hope your house catches fire, and ou end up homeless. maybe it will humble you.

  • @plaugewolf Hell I had a better idea. Rather than breed babies out all over the place like a dumb animal I decided not to have any at all. Instead of burying myself in debt I worked all the time and paid off my house (which is fully insured). So if my house burned down I would get a big fat check. You see I deserve that because I EARNED IT!

I hope you get exactly what you have earned, if that turns out not to be very much at all I bet it will still be just exactly what you earned..

  • @embracingreality , I agree with ot having a bunch of babies that you can afford to feed, but then again she did work so maybe she could aford it until she lost her job. There are many things that could have occurred here that we dont know. Like maybe she was married and it didnt work out etc. Maybe er religion doesnt allow abortions etc...So many are getting exactly what they dont deserve like CEOs making 200mil for sending a company in the tank along with my 401k 4 retirement

  • @mysteek29 Certainly never suggested the woman shouldn't be given some assistance and more importantly her children but she also needs to be held accountable for her bad choices. Sterilization is a rational approach to the problem of people who breed more offspring than they have resources to provide for. We have the good sense to encourage neutering for animals who don't know any better. People who apparently don't know any better should be afforded the same consideration..

  • @plaugewolf ..The ruthless insurance companies are in business to make money not give it away. He would be surprised to find out they will try to blame him for the fire to get out of paying for him a new house...first.

  • we are turning into russia

  • next they will put you in jail for breathing to much or looking at someone....(HEY YOU STOP BLEEDING IT'S NOT ALOUD)

  • This was a clear case of a family in desperate need, and the only thing the state can do is charge the mother with abuse, throw her in jail, and seize the children? The United States is one of the wealthiest countries in the world in both absolute and per capita terms, but cannot afford a welfare system which would cost less than the current methods of responding to desperate need? What is wrong with your nation?

  • @LadyDeirdre I ask myself the same thing everyday

  • @LadyDeirdre

No it affords way more in welfare than it should - it's not the broken US welfare system's fault that mom's like this sell their food stamps to buy crack, and crank out kids they can't support just to get child welfare for them to spend on more crack - while ignoring the many churches and charities that exist. The chances of starving to death in a country with a McDonald's on every corner is less than winning the lottery 10 times. Liberals are so deluded.

  • They listened to babies crying for a week before they decided to check on them? And where the hell is their father?

  • They fucking put her in jail for being poor, and on her own. Don't worry though, those elitist Leftists will be happy to tie her up in the system for the next ten years, and adopt out her children, so they can meet their quota and get more FEDERAL money to "help" somebody else. Poor woman. Instead of helping her to find shelter, they lock her up and take away her kids. And don't even get me started on the neighbors living only feet away. How could they not help her? They sure helped her alright.

  • No way!!! She looks like Uncle fester with hair!

  • Welcome to America. Home of the....homeless and land of the Free...until they are jailed for being homeless -.-

  • I mean our system is so childish and immature. Instead of offerring the lady some diapers, shower ,food, maybe an old trailer they arrest her for child neglect? Neglect is when you have the means but do not provide. She didn't leave the kids alone and she didn't have the means. The system makes a criminal out of a unfortunate woman who had nothing. Just because she was poor?

  • @mysteek29 you got that right

  • @mysteek29 that is true however people these days don't want to help anyone they would rather splat her all over the news and dog her out

  • @msfieldsful I agree... So sad. The people that should be arrested is the police that arrested her. To SERVE and PROTECT? WTH?

  • @mysteek29 MAYBE YOU DIDN'T HEAR THE DISCRIPTION OF THE BABIES CRYING,IT IS NOT O.K. FOR BABIES TO LIVE OUTSIDE IN THE SUMMER IN THE SOUTH.MAYBE YOU COULD TAKE THEM IN,YOU MAKE IT SOUND SO EASY FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO DO IT.ALL THE ,MOTHER HAD TO DO WAS GO TO DEFAX OR COPS AND TELL THEM SHE HAD NO PLACE TO GO,THEY WOULD HAVE PUT HER UP.I NSTEAD,SHE RISKED THEIR LIVES,GREAT JUDGEMENT!!!

  • @mylani100 , Well maybe she could have. Maybe she did. We dont know because they didnt interview her. Arresting her and taking her away from the kids and giving her a record...Yeah that will solve the problem....WIth so many people leaving their children ,I cant blame the lady for BUGGING out on a system that has not worked for her. No job,no insurance, no home---We dont know her mind state. I guessing here but it probably wasnt JOYOUS. This is our society. The haves and have-nots..

  • @mysteek29 Oh yeah, Like she couldn't have gotten a job, get a place or stay with friends until she could get her own place. So It his her own goddamn fault, she decided that she will not work and live in the forest and put her children's lives in jeopardy. So you're saying she should get a free trailer, get free food, get free diapers. INSTEAD OF WORKING! You do not put a child in the hands of a homeless person, do you know why? BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE THE MONEY TO PROVIDE FOR THEM!...

  • @mysteek29 PUTTING CHILDREN IN A FOREST WHERE THERE'S POISON IVY, SPIDERS, BEES, INSECTS, WILD ANIMALS AND THORNS! But of course that's not child abuse. After all it's not her fault, It's the government's and the peoples fault for not providing for her, after all she's an adult and not a child and she should be expected to provide for herself. "But what if she didn't go to college?" That's her fault for not participating "But what if she couldn't afford it?"...

  • @mysteek29 Than she should have gotten a job earlier to save up or have Parents to save up for her College. My brother is 21, he works at Starbucks and he's earning enough money to go to College. It's not fucking hard. The point is, She put those Babies in danger when she took them to the forest. It's not people's responsibilty to give them free shit. It's HER fault.

  • @SlamageEntertainment "he works at Starbucks and he's earning enough money to go to College. It's not fucking hard."

Yet cases of thousands of young people who gratuated and still can't find a job in America, even something not related to their field. A serious class issue in that God-forsaken, ruinned country and you say out of simplisity it isn't hard? I don't think so...

  • "or stay with friends until she could get her own place"

If she did she certainly wouldn't be in that situation... Derp.

  • "You do not put a child in the hands of a homeless person, do you know why? BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE THE MONEY TO PROVIDE FOR THEM!..."

You can say the same for anyone from any class. People just don't give a shit about children no more, whether it's their children or not.

  • Again thousand if not millions of youths in America with no job and yet rich corporations don't want them generally because of expensive labour or that they're to incompetent and don't even bother to invest in the time to train them. Their own people and their own future as Americans. But hey, she's an adult, but in terms of this crisis, it can last for decades and they won't be kids no more....

  • @mysteek29

No because she was negligent, spending her taxpayer funded welfare money on drugs and ignoring the many shelters and charities that exist to help women like her free of charge. And refusing to give kids up which she wasn't willing to provide for and forcing them to suffer. She was a criminal, and at least she'll have free room and food in jail - can't be much worse.

  • she sort of made her children live the shitty life too. its bad enough she had to but to let her infint children live in the bug infested wild life? come on! really? AND they have shelters for mothers and their children. She wasn't thinking clearly enough.

  • you guys i know what you mean, saying she is poor. But if i had 3 kids and i cant take care of them i know im poor i know i dont have money and im forced to be homeless. THEY shouldnt live like this. Give them to someone who will take good care of them, im sure so many people who cant have children would love to adopt them. I know its a tough thing to do but they wouldnt have thrown her in jail if it was just her. Its the fact she knew she couldnt take care of them and she didnt do anything.

  • @jumanabeth Catch-22. You aren't allowed to give your children away to be adopted.

  • @toounfazed you cant? i thought you can go this place and do it? are you sure? ive seen so many people giving their child up for adoption, im not saying give them away that sounds kind of like they are toys. i mean like set them up for adoption because you simply cant take care of them

  • @jumanabeth You might be able to give up a cute white newborn for adoption but you can't just go somewhere and voluntarily give up dark skinned toddlers for adoption so easily, even if you have someone who is interested in adopting them. You'll find yourself up on child abandonment charges. If you are aware of some exact steps that can be taken in a particular state, I'm interested in learning about them.

  • @toounfazed really? i didnt know it depended on race. Thats strange

  • criminalizing poverty, we are bringing back debtors prisons too, whats next? concentration camps? So will this poor mother end up with a criminal record for all this? I suppose they'll put her in jail, where she may be raped and abused, for her crime of poverty. As our country sends billions overseas and bails out the banks, They are putting the wrong people in jail, but they know that.

  • U.S need to close all U.S military bases are around the world and use the money on its people and other that lot of people we will still have big problem in America. Thummp if you are agree

  • there is help avail. for a homeless mom and 3 babys, she is just to lazy and or stupid to get it.

  • They are throwing people in jail for being poor , very interesting . America is a pathetic country .

  • how sad bc your homeless and the shelters are full...they take away your kids and put u in jail. Had she gone for help they would have taken away her kids too. I feel sorry for her and her kids.

  • What kind of jerks put people in jail for being POOR!

  • Hey people!!! This type of shit is the reason to take to the streets and reclaim your country. GO! GO! GO! Git yer ass out there and take that mofo back.

  • @Waltherpeepeekay Now that's hilarious!

  • This is sad! Where's the Father? This mother better have a chance to get her kids back. This poor woman! The woman needs help, not 3 counts of felony child neglect. Who the fuck does this government work for?

  • Wow. Put a woman in jail for trying not to be a burden. Just going off what was said in this story. It would seem to have been more prudent to direct her to a ministry which could have helped her. Instead they separated a mom from her children. Only real crime being poor. She needed help not jail. But at least it's quiet for those not YET affected by the current economy.

  • it is going to get a lot worse

  • The problem is solved by putting their mother in jail?

  • Let me get this straight: THE NEIGHBORS FINALLY CALLED AFTER LISTENING TO THE CHILDREN CRYING IN THE WOODS FOR A WEEK???? What the hell is wrong with people??? Why wouldn't you call immediately, as soon as you knew there was someone living with children in your woods. Geez, give me a break.

  • @trinketbox1 They listened to the babies cry for a week and didn't even offer to help the poor woman?

  • @ rebelnomo: I think you are an idiot if you believe anyone can get welfare, back in the 80’s maybe but not today. Only foreigners are able to utilize the system and reap the wealth. I know several people that have tried repeatedly to get some kind of relief only to be turned down.

  • @rebelnomo I understand but they give all those handouts to people who are lazy and don't need it (not everyone but most of them that get it are lazy)

  • I think it's HORRIBLE that they put her in JAIL! Instead, they should have helped her find a shelter and get the kids in a safe, clean environment.

  • @MrsSarb Wow - you ARE living in a dream world. Sorry; she belong in jail.

  • @trinketbox1 So you think it's a crime to be poor? I mean I'm not a total bleeding heart by any means but I do understand the difference between someone who is poor and someone who is abusive.

  • @MrsSarb Well, you better educate yourself on the difference between poor, abusive, and someone who has a mental issue who should not be raising a child in a bug-infested woods wearing soiled diapers and crying. Apparently from your original post, you believe these children would be clean and safe in a different environment WITH THIS MOTHER - wrong. After your term "bleeding heart" just go ahead and put the word "liberal". Sorry you don't think these conditions are "abusive".

  • f-ers they boot u out of work, out of your home, and force you to live like this and then they take ur kids and u to jail, total bs. F^%$ America and what it has become.

  • @shlockg13 You are a fucking idiot if you really believe that. I know that you know it's bullshit though. Nobody in America has to be homeless. Especially women with kids. They can get wick, foodstamps, welfare, and a number of other handouts. I would be willing to bet all of my money that she was on dope at the time. If anyone can afford dope, then they don't need a handout.

  • @shlockg13

hear hear. im sick of it too...

  • @shlockg13 This is utterly insulting to the title of Superpower, many other thrid world countries such as China, Cuba, Thailand, etc have some sort of basic welfare (although mostly incomplete), USA as a developed superpower got close to zero (and whatever left today are gradually being cut in the name of austerity).

  • Who in the hell would impregnate that?

  • @rebelnomo Obviously some low-life who doesn't give a shit about the kids.

  • @MrsSarb By the way, I see you posted this. So deep down, you know this is a low-life who didn't give a shit about the kids. The fact is, you would be hard-pressed in this country to find someone that would NOT help you if you were truly just poor with these children. She could have walked up to the house that was listening to the children crying.

  • @trinketbox1 Actually I was referring to the father but you do have a point. I just think it's wrong to put someone in jail for being poor, that's all. It is true though that there is a lot of help available to people. It's a sad world isn't it?

  • @MrsSarb Absolutely it is wrong and illegal to put someone in jail for being poor. After 20 years in law enforcement, I have no doubt that when they booked her the charge wasn't "she is poor" as that is simply not a crime. More likely, the charge was child neglect, child abuse, child abandonment, drunk & disorderly, a drug charge, or they took her in for a mental evaluation, or a combination of these. These people should not have kids; they couldn't take care of a hamster.

  • @trinketbox1 You don't think it would be easy to say that someone who is poor is neglecting their child? There are a LOT of unemployed people right now and the funds to help people are drying up. If she simply needs help, I hope she gets it. I see your point though too.

  • @MrsSarb Regarding your first question, no I really don't, if experienced law enforcement and social service people are involved. I, too, hope she gets help and those children receive the nourishment, cleanliness, and basic necessities to prosper and grow. It's unfortunate, and we have generations of people who are in this situation.

  • I bet the mom would have ended up eating the children eventually......

  • Thank god they found them who knows what could of happened.
