@ 1:56 you see my handy-work,yes,the modest B&W "the doors" was done Memorial day 1987 with a bag of 40 ouncers,a pint of Wild Turkey,a hand full of Purple 4-Way Window Pane with a Lid in my left front pocket and a Bowl and a Zippo in the right one...those were the days \O/
Nice. We used to park behind the gas station and walk through a field to a tool shed looking building then enter the tunnel. We would walk under the street and be inside. Crazy stuff we found: a gym with the second floor caved in so it went straight down to the pool, a bowling alley, the library, a firestation with a bell tower and we also followed the tunnels real far once and found a bomb shelter that still had drums of water and rotten food. Oh nice, I just looked up at the video and saw the
I started checking out the tunnels when I was like 10 yrs old. We'd mess around in the buildings before soccer practice. The powerhouse was one of my favorite buildings, I didn't get to that building till I was like 14.
we used to play home run derby in the baseball field across the street and after it started to get dark we would go through the tunnel under the road to get in. sweet video
Yea bella that was how me and my friends would get there always thru the woods from heinz park.Myself i started going to the tunnels in 85 vid sure brings back memories
northvilletunnels: can you tell me where these buildings were in relation to the golfcourse, i actually helped build the course and arrived on the scene from waterford shortly after the buildings were torn down(june,1999) and all i've ever heard about were the steam tunnel stories but i never personally saw any of it!

I can't believe how much this takes me back!! So glad you made these videos!
I started going there in 89' and my last visit was in 92. The buildings always felt more evil to me after it started to get dark!
We also spent some time in the tunnels, they were always scary! Did anyone else go in thru the woods from Heinz Park?
