  • After a few days of playing with this wheel, can only say that it is worth it so far. Let me rephrase that. It's worth it if you hard mount it to steering column or a steering wheel base. I thought that it wouldn't be so bad to hold it up in the air because I could rest my elbows on the armrest of the chair. I seems that holding it up isn't the problem. The problem is that it feels so unnatural holding it up. BUT after fixing it to a steering column, this wheel comes alive. I have much more fun

  • with it than with my G27 (which I sold). Because it has no mechanical parts, it is as smooth as butter. It is as fast a you want it to be when steering or counter steering. I have no problem that there is no force feedback until I played Dirt 3. Race games need force feedback. The only two issues I have are; it’s only 360° which is not enough when playing rally games and the throttle/brake behind the wheel. When you set the wheel to 360° and you have to turn 180°, I can’t seem to use

  • the throttle or the brake paddle anymore. This is a problem if you want to out-accelerate out of a very sharp turn or hairpin. You have to straighten the wheel in order to be able to use the throttle again. Drifting is probably very difficult for this reason. The solution: combining this wheel with stand alone USB pedals. The motion sensor part works perfectly. This wheel is direct, responds vey quick. The steering sensitivity works like it should and is a great feature.

  • Some of the buttons are difficult to find (with your finger) if you’re playing. I do like the fact that there are so many buttons to program though.

To conclude. I like this wheel. I have no regrets buying it what so ever. I like more than my G27 and I’m going to have a lot of fun with it. Just one not. You have to be able to mount it on a steering column or steering wheel base. Holding it up in the air is not the way to play race games. And you need to invest in stand alone USB pedals.

  • looks like an iracing knock-off

  • i want a force feedback and mountable version of this with leg paddles... haha

  • Türkiyede nerde bulabilirim bunu?

  • what is the name of this sim?

  • Driver doesn't have hands?

  • at least the track looks pretty

  • will this work on xbox?

  • Bought SRW-S1 and love it. And I did try simraceway since the wheel came with a $10 plastic card with a "coupon number" But I found the online sim painfully dated. The graphics are 2004-ish and there is quite a bit of half second freezing about every 10 seconds.

  • Forget prev message

  • Ok now this is getting annoying, I've subscribed to u guys like 5 times now.... Wtf!!!!!!!!! Is going on, seriously!

  • Really don't understand the negative comments. I have a G25 + the Wheel Stand Pro but I just LOVE the idea of not having to move around that monster with those 350 cables all the time. This is as easy as it gets, just take it out of your drawer and you're good to go. Also, it's not just a toy as some have put it, there's almost no visible lag and the motion tracking is quite precise. It's certainly not for long sessions, but if you just got the time for a few laps, this is just perfect IMHO.

  • what software is?

  • No FFB = Suckage. Just what the console gamers ordered.

  • @KCTrexPilot My console wheel has FF and this is for the PC. What are you talking about?

  • Trash! get a g27!

  • @DrSpecialBrown no. get a g25

  • @Firedragon41520 whats makes the g25 better?

  • @DrSpecialBrown its better than 90% of the cars in the US

  • @Firedragon41520 your silly :P

  • @DrSpecialBrown no i've looked

  • @Firedragon41520 Idk if your trolling but i was talking about the Logitech g27 and g25 not the Infinity g25 and g37 what you seem to be talking about...

  • @DrSpecialBrown no i mean the LOGITECH g25

  • trash just get a g37 logitech.

  • This would MAYBE ... MAYBE... work it had an ability to maybe attach to a pole or some kind of center post to where you didn't have to hold it in the air yourself. If you could attach it to a shaft of some sort and turn it like a normal wheel on that then you might have yourself something usable ( even though there would be no FFB or any resistance at all ) but it would still be better then holding your hands straight out for several laps, Holding your arms out like that is very difficult.

  • @lilbro209 Spoken like a true coach potato, LOL YOU MEAN I HAVE TO HOLD IT UP WITH MY ARMS???AHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • "patented hand lever system" Seriously guys. Nothing new or special about 4 levers behind the wheel.

    I mean...patented...

  • va faire 30 tours comme ca......

  • thats just a toy...

  • No base, or force feedback, is a no no from me, might as well just play Nintendo Wii? Love the look and buttons etc, but will stick with my g25. Can't you adapt it to fit Logitech wheels and use the ffb from those then USB connect this for all the buttons etc?

  • how do you accelerate and brake?

  • if santa or the three kings bring me this....i chase them to kill them.....

    jesus christ....epic fail !

  • what game is that?

  • @KOSKESH43 are you completely blind? it's Simraceway

  • @zwogon well no i tried to download it but coudnt find any thing with that name on pairetbay

  • @KOSKESH43 It's free. check their website

  • @KOSKESH43 the game can be downloaded for free on Simraceway [DOT] com.

  • @KOSKESH43 hahaha

  • it should be a nice wheel, but too bad you have to hold it in the damn air :(

  • 119,99 EURO FOR THIS? ARE THEY INSANE? YOU CAN GET A LOGITECH GT WHEEL FOR THE SAME PRICE! EPIC FAIL!

  • @Nefus1988 The only Logitec wheels I see for any in the $100 range get bad reviews for REAL simulation PC racers. If you play BS like midnight club and Sticker boy racer games, I would understand your comment.

  • @AdamantForce he's referring to the logitech driving force gt, which is actually a close relative to the g27, it just doesn't have a clutch pedal, it's what i use on iRacing.

  • Garbage. person who thought no base was a good idea needs to be slapped

  • MAKE THIS WHEEL LIKE NORMAL AND ILL BUY IT :@

  • dont ur arms get tired ??

  • Nice wheel. but i prefer the Driving force GT wheel, or the logitech g25 and g27

  • besides me, who was hoping he would lose control & crash ?

  • wtf flying steering wheel :\

  • not only is the "glorified game pad" not for people that want a simulator.. but that Field Of View is absolutely CARTOONISH.When you drive in a real car, you don't see that far ahead in Skew.

Show me a PRO racer that drives without a throttle, brake, and clutch.

By definition, a Professional is someone that gets paid to do something.... These guys are getting paid to SELL this game pad. guess that's what makes em pro's....

my old DFP and Momo blacks are still kickin ass on this thing

  • I wonder how sore you'd be from trying to hold that up for over half an hour. It looks pretty heavy.

  • Now only if there were any good racing games for pc.

  • "Used by the pros!" lol... pro chair sitting button pushers. WHOA.

  • piece of crap

  • Comment removed

  • they have taken all the fun out of Racing. If they add pedals and make the wheel mountable I would consider buying it. this racing wheel is not for sim racers.

  • What a daft idea...

  • where did you get/won/buy that car?

  • you dont really need force feedback because you get enough feel from the car anyway from oversteer and understeer just by visual feel. But then again maybe subconsciously force feedback is telling me this with the sliding action. I don't know. The steering wheel does look great though. I would much prefer a steering column so it isn't free in the air. Looks like a proper f1 steering wheel. can't get f1 steering wheels for that price!!!

  • will they make an adaptor for force feedback?

I was thinking of getting this... but the whole air thing... :S

lol ill probly still get it though

  • lots of input lag?

  • my hands will be hurting with that in half and hour. Plus i am a guy who wants forced feedback not a steering in the air for 2 to 3 hrs straight.

  • @eyelesskiller8 hey i fely exactly the same but it turns out after i did a search you can mound this to the G25 and have the best of everything :) hope this either changed ur mind or helped

  • I'd rather stick with the old school shift stick and clutch.

  • are you kidding me?? a floating wheel?? No force feedback .. sucks but w/e... BUT let me see you last a couple of laps... not to mention an entire race!!! You'll have shoulder cramps and fatigue like crazy! very stupid... ok for very casual (and short) racing... not for a sim. (Boo)

  • Racing wheel without feedback force? Why would anyone buy it?

  • looks sickly delayed!

  • find away to attach it to a g27 and ill buy it!

  • is this simraceway quality??

  • How did u get F1 to simraceway?.

  • Dont you see? Its Thrustmaster VG Thrustmaster T500 F1 Racing Wheel Add On for half the price! And with clutch axis like it should be! Gonna buy and build a mount to my G25. With this, the ROSO wheels will close in six months.

  • it's the Nintendo Wii Wheel just with a thousand buttons that no one is really gonna use to begin with.

  • This "wheel" is absolutely pointless. Safe your money and get a proper wheel and pedal setup. There's already enough yahoos out there trying to race online and crashing everyone out. This only adds to the problem.

  • @aahutch

It's just a game, dude. It's a toy. For fun.

  • @DTownzz At $120 US, thats a pretty expensive toy. I'd stick with a controller.

  • @aahutch

Yep, it's a sophisticated toy. It's expensive, I guess. So is most other video game stuff these days. PS3, Dualshock3, graphics card, etc... all largely for playing, and therefore are toys.

  • @aahutch i have to agree here, if you are going to race online, why spend the money on this kids toy, ALSO, i have no room to talk, i still use an old-ass Logitech MOMO from 2005, but, if it works, why get rid of it, i tested out the g27, other than an extra steering room (which i will never use) so why give this one up when it still works?

  • @Rcrby525 ... and as you say, why give up what you have for an expensive version of the Nintendo Wii wheel.

  • again. if you buy this. why not just use a gamepad? this idea is retarded.

  • WTF! You use pedals and wheel to make the driving more realistic! This thing is alomost the same as wireless controller

  • How's the force feedback on that thing?

  • @DCollins36 just vibrates and rumbles like a playstation controller, which is lame.

  • what track is it ?

  • @vprmn

It is Mid Ohio. I want to know what game that is though.

  • The Nintendo Wii has one just like it for Mario Kart, looool!

  • @ShallowDepression actually that is just a case you put the wii controller in.

  • @Rcrby525 Lo, even better :)

  • actually that thing looks great. If you can attach it to a cockpit dedicated to force feedback instead of the steering inputs, that thing could probably be the most accurate steering wheel.

  • Why? If you want a quality experience, this is achieved through a stationary wheel. I find this strange. It is a false sensation steering in the air.

  • Until an actual vehicle is created that has a floating steering wheel, i dont think this thing will be necessary

  • ps3 xbox to? i want to see that

  • force feedback!!!!!!!!!

  • i want a f1 steering wheel set with chair and pedals

  • Thats a controller, not a wheel :)

  • I'd love to see the market research that showed a gap in the market for Wii-style steering on a platform known for sticking to hardcore sims. Might have a market if they can bring it to the consoles and integrate it into the top titles, but otherwise this is just a nice, but pointless, bit of tech.

  • @tehPete it was designed for people who are to lazy to operate hand-crank clamps and pedals, jesus christ, you drive a fucking car, you can use a pair of pedals.

  • I'll stick with my Logitech wheel that MOUNTS and functions like a real wheel. Perhaps they can sell an addon mount heh?

  • What if i drop the wheel in the middle of a hot lap?

  • I'd rather Buy a DFGT. It's cheaper, better, has FFB, and use by many simracers out there.

  • no force feedback? lolololol

  • How can u recommend it for a simulator?

  • Never mind force feed back. Fuckheads

  • I like it! Steering in the air should be done years ago! I hate those old and traditional steering wheels that are heavy and need to be attached on something.

  • This is just a toy for kids, but it is better than the Xbox wireless wheel~

  • Who the hell is ever going to use that on a pc when you can get a good wheel and pedal set for the same price?

  • @Valenth1337

Well, i would just because i could play the game while laying down on a sofa.I realy hate to sit close to the noisy pc

  • @Valenth1337 for the same price??? look at Thrustmaster Ferrari wheel. With pedals it'll cost 700$. and it costs about 150$

  • @BarometreFaso SIMRACEWAY SRW-S1 costs 119.99 € (Source: Official website), Logitech Driving Force GT costs roughly 200€ (Source: pricerunner). The Logitech DFGT wheel is used by drivers like Greger Huttu who last year won 10000$ for winning the Drivers World Championship on iRacing. What wheel would you choose?

  • @Valenth1337 keyboard

  • cool wheel, but steering in the air is just weird.
