I find it easier by destroying 2 of the displays and leaving 1 alive while constantly attacking the Mother Brain. She'll do little damage as long as she still has a display alive, and you should be able to outdamage the healing of the single display

@syketo Well for one, at 58 seconds in it says the recording message in the left corner. From and emulator. And actually, I do know how much an original copy of Chrono Trigger can go for, seeing as I own one.

I'm not sure if your last remark about owning one is sarcasm or not, as it's difficult to determine on the internet. But if you don't believe me, I'll gladly take a video to demonstrate to you that I own one. Along with games that sell for much higher such as Earthbound or FF's in the box

@KyleMoher I'm not going to argue with you, but I'm sure you got a copy, I got a copy of both the SNES and DS versions of the game. The recording was done using an emulator since I don't have a gamebridge or anything of the like, and if you think I suck, that's your opinion.

Mother Brain isn't all that hard, really. The smart way of beating her is to take out two of the three Displays and just hammer on MotherBrain. With the right techs, you can damage her more for what she can heal with and she's not all "HAI DAMAGE LAZORZ" on you.

I had to beat her the longer way. I destroyed all but one of the moniters and then attacked like crazy. It takes a while longer, but can be done at a relatively low level.

I noticed most of your vids have Ayla and Crono. Are they 2 favorites? I think Magus and Crono are 2 staples to have in your party late in game.

@billybill82284 Ayla is the best physical fighter in the game, plus she is a must when fighting Dalton's sub-level since she's the only one who doesn't lose her weapon in prison.

a much easier strategy would be, to "shut down" 2 of the 3 computers and then focus at attacking the mother brain, cause if all the computers are shut down, the mother brain's attacks are much mor powerful as you can see at 1:48

My strategy is this:

Have Crono, Marle and Robo. Lead off with Luminaire, then have Marle and Robo use Ice Tackle. Repeat once more and she should go down if your stats are good enough.

If you destroy all the screens, Mother Brain gets stronger with each attack. The power of her attacks increases, as does her defense against everything. She can become invincible this way.

I figured this out when she wiped the floor with me once I destroyed all three screens...so I keep one active. You can easily do more than 2,000 HP damage in one turn.

All you have to do is use Crono's Luminare to take out the three screens healing her and herself, and just use your best techs. She only has 5000 HP.
