  • @SupaHickey1995 True, altho alot of people don't feel ''most of the pain'' during the game due to the amount of adrenaline going on lol.. such a rush, gotta love it tho haha

  • I got to admit this looks a lot more painful than American Football!!

  • Ok guys, we got it the first 50 times, the speech was stolen from 'Any Given Sunday,' read the other comments before recycling the same shit over and over, it gets old.

  • FAIL - Script at the start was stolen from - 'Any Given Sunday' Al Pacino - ppl watch the original before rating this shit!

  • Lomu is a great player, and respect to him for that, but what was he thinking with the haircut

  • its rugby not rugy

  • from 6:20 he stumbles to the line and no one could tackle him. lomu = beast.

  • Jonah Lomu the handoff master haha

  • This speech is Al Pacino - Any Given Sunday. No credit given. This one isnt delivered so well either. Its about American Football. Come up with some new material. You embarrass Rugby.

  • Could you also allow this to be played on iDevices? I have an iTouch and can't bring computer-like devices during my performance areas, and really need to be able to listen to this great pump-up video

    ~Please consider!

  • Got a big match later on 2day...and that speaker has me pumped up to kill someone on the pitch !! :L

  • That speaker is my hero.

  • 13 people won't die for an inch

  • It's from the film Any Given Sunday - It's about American Football

To Find the clip type in - Peace with Inches - Any Given Sunday

    Hope this helped

  • you completely ruined the video with this shitty ass music

  • everyone should shut up about this rugby vs football debate like really there both fricking fun, rugby you get hurt more and get hit more often but the hits arent as hard, in football you get hammered depending what position you play and takes alot more strength again depending your position

  • American football is all about jumping towards your opponent, requires no strength whatsoever, rugby however, you need to learn how to pick your enemy up which most weight up to 2x more than an American Footballer since in Rugby you require more MUSCLE, not FAT. And of course you get injured in American Football, you don't know how to tackle properly, in Rugby you don't just hurt yourself, you break bones...

  • @JonnydaSilva1 dude both hit crazy hard and require tons of strength. I am a 190 pound lineman that has to shove around 360 pound monsters. Its not all fat. Sure, we're more fat in general, but they just require different skill sets. Both are physical, both are about picking people up, and both are freaking awesome to play. so give it up already.

  • @kilox10001 Nope, really from the US. State college, Pa. Went to states in 08. Play rugby with the PSU teams. And your just jealous because we get to show off our perfectly formed legs in our short shorts.

  • @kilox10001 lol I play football too brah. I'm american.... And you can't compare the two because you've never played rugby I imagine. Please stop trolling

  • ridiculous statement

  • 4:30 dont kick ure ball into this fuckers garden ! :)

  • jonah lomu y step people when u can go through them

  • I broke my back playing rugby loved every min of it!

  • @lesterpowell

i broke my neck last may playing rugby, back playing now though (:

  • People are only hating on football 1. Because this is a rugby vid. 2. because footballers earn a massive wedge and start crying when a "studs up" challange comes in you want to be at the bottom of a ruck gettin a good kicking. "studs up" try "studs in" mug.

  • rugby is boring as fuck to watch! yeah no pads no helmets but in football at least they hit lol come on guys really they both are man sports i dont see females in nfl? i would reather play football with no pads!! its so dumb they throw the ball to each other to normaly go 5 yards then pass it and get stuck again then the other team gets it and kicks it then it starts all over again! lame!!!!! stop hating on football pricks!

  • @skljcd we dont hate on football and it is sometimes really cool to watch like the superbowl etc but really a sport that is played all over the world cannot be wrong. you complain about about a cycle of play? American football is based around plays dude come on if the pass is incomplete the play is done again... and you say that isnt boring? rugby is played by men and women around the world, from new zealand to england, from argentina to hongkong this is because it is awesome.

  • some of these games are rugby league, which in my opinion has bigger hits then rugby.

  • 2:39 LOL

  • Great tune to go with the video

  • even though i love nfl as well union is my church! jeez i would love to see a game between the best nfl team america can provide and the best union team we can provide playing union! lol would love to see them take some of our head high tackles or spear tackles with no pads! ;-)

  • One word Insiration

  • I never tire of Henson's tackle at 2:33 COME ON WALES LETS BEAT THE AUSIES ON SATURDAY!

  • @nrjelley nah ozzies will win bro sorry bout it.. lol

  • Thumbs up for those of you who wanted to start playing rugby, but then saw 1:58 !!

  • haha lots of comments on here by people that have never played rugby. I played both rugby and football at a high level (both through college), and I can clearly tell you american football boys would get killed on the rugby pitch. In football you can use your pads as weapons, in rugby you cant hide behind anything. In rugby you learn how to hit people when you have the ball and , instead of waiting for them to hit you. Rugby will make you a much better football player

  • @MrBencarson75 you clearly have no idea what your talking about. . i don't know a single RB that will "wait to get hit". Any runningback will try and plow over a tackler, they don't wait to get hit, they bring it. If you think otherwise you no nothing about football. Go watch some clips of adrian peterson, brandon jacobs, "the nigerian nightmare" Bronco nagurski, "The bus" Earl Campbell, Larry csonka, The Diesel, Jim Brown, Eddie george, and then say football ball carriers don't hit.

  • @IXAMXNOTXDEAD ive never seen a running back truck through 5 guys at once

  • @TheRugbyplayer5 well, if he ever has to truck through 5 players at once chances are his blockers aren't doing a very good job. Do you know your football? Steven jackson fits that descrition perfectly, go watch some of his highlights. Christian okoye ring a bell? /watch?v=6OO-w04DUv4

Watch that video and go to 4:18 6:20 Also look up any running back from my previous post that you replied to and you'll see the same thing

  • Nice try rugby but Al Pacino's half time speech is for the National Football League and not for smeer the queer

  • Nice try rugby in using Al Pacino's half time speech but im sorry it just doesn't work out...try again later : )

  • @MrKobe2011

    I noticed that too!!! Haha

  • lol a mike catt, lomu nom nom nommmmm

  • guy at the start ruined it but big hits though

  • foot ball has bigger hits but rugby is more dangerous

  • Jonah Lomu still hasn't scored a test try again the greatest rugby nation on earth.. South Africa

  • good vid perfectly planned out, shame bout quality though, my vids were bad quality until i downloaded camtasia and just found a vid on utube with a serial to register it

  • thats like saying wearing armor is for pussies, NO its for people who wanna inflict the most pain without the risk of taking themselves out in the process thats why NFL hits are harder and the proof is in the concussion rate and death and paralyzation rates between NFL players and rugby players, in rugby it seems to be about proper technique so you dont hurt yourself tackling in football with pads whichever way u can inflict the most pain go for it

  • @try23223 the concussion rate has nothing to do with how hard they hit, they have very poor technique and lead with their heads. the armour argument is just stupid, your comparing guys who are in mortal danger and risking their lives to protect their country with people playing a sport. if you want to wear pads fair enough but dont go trolling on rugby vids exclaiming how hard football players are.

  • fuck off all you cunts who call American Football just Football, it's not football!!! Fuck off with your stupid pussy pads because you can't take hits like Rugby. Rugby is the proper man's game not american football.

  • if you play rugby first youd be a monsterous defensive player in football

  • nfl players are pussies coz they wea sissy pads and helmets

  • Jonah Lomu is my inspiration I wanna be like him

  • Opening speech ripped off of Any Given Sunday with Al Picino. One of the best speeches ever. This opening shames it really bad

  • Isn't this from the movie with al pacino?

  • YEAH BUT DOES RUGBY HAVE HITTERS LIKE RAY LEWIS???........... NOPE DIDNT THINK SO

  • @deseanjackson1010 Bakkis Botha, Brian Habana, Jonah Lomu, Jonny Wilkinson and more all hit BETTER than ray lewis and are faster

  • @deseanjackson1010

take a look at ma'a nonu, jonah lomu or sebastien chabal, then you take a look at ray lewis without his armour. he's all pumped up, the rugby guys are pure force they'll break lewis into pieces.

  • nfl have pads....enough said

  • being a welshman i love seeing lomu running all over england he never scored against wales!

  • @lesterpowell uuumm how meny test has wales won playing the all blacks?

  • Song name after speech?

  • @francoroxo its Mirwais - Disco Science

  • More Rugby League then Rugby.. big difference... league players can tackle

  • @baniephobia wat did i do dickshit

  • Which team is the red one doing the dance?

  • Whats the song called in this video?

  • why wreck the whole thing with that music :/ i loved the start...

  • I play football and rugby but rugby takes the win!

  • @TEMNproductions whats harder rugby or football ?? i think it´s rugby but i´m not sure

  • @Jenarson I've played both, it's hard to say. U guys tackle with your heads, which makes it harder than it needs 2 b. I've played 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,12 and 13 in rugby and TE & LB in football. TE & LB are very similar 2 rugby. I played rugby at a much higher level than football, but I'm taking that into account. The equipment balances out (bigger hits that hurt less). You spill more sweat & blood in rugby, that's the main difference, more bodily fluids, lol. (i assume football meant grid iron)

  • rugby league is harder

  • @Jenarson i play rugby , its fucking sikk , hard hits:D, im a prop(forward) , i love it , rugbys a hard painful game , its harder than football , ive played football its good but its for puffs , rugby is for men youve got to take the pain , if you dont then your fucked:L...

  • @TEMNproductions true that!

  • BEST INTRO EVER.

  • IT'S TRUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • this is a rugby version of Al Pacino's NFL speech?

  • fucking hawains

  • Oh and btw some of the biggest rugby countries are in Polynesia. Haven't you ever heard of Fiji, Samoa and Tonga?

  • polynesia? dont even know where that is! cant be renown for its rugby.

  • im pretty sure its your lack of knowledge of countries...

  • @skuxmuch2010 there isnt a country called polynesia you dick. And all the players who come from fiji samoa and the like arent anywhere near as good untill they have decent training from countries like australia new zealand or SA

Fucken polynesia your a stupid fukn cunt arent ya

    Go back to school

  • @jamievtec9891 Polynesia refers to a group of islands in the south pacific, the largest of which are fiji, samoa, tonga etc. its the same as refering to countries like sweden and iceland as scandinavian. And of coarse those players arent as good until they get the right coaching, there simply isnt the money in a country like fiji, with a popuation of a 200,000 or so, to really invest in a strong rugby infrastructure. I think you are the one who needs to go back to school mate.

  • this video will do 1 of 2 things. A) put people off playing rugby for life or B) Make them wanna play rite this second. Personally its the second one (:

  • i love the bits with Lomu in them, he's my idol and i play in the same position as he once did

  • fuk that 2 min speech

  • Pity the speech at the beginning is a rip-off of Al Pacino from 'Any Given Sunday'... Pacino does it right, this guy is a muppet.

    Good hits though...

  • If i was forced to play Rugby i would never be with the ball HOLLY SHIT lmao

  • love the speech at beggining. gets u sciched up and makes u angry before a match.

  • what is the start video about being a team cuz i need it as inspiration to my mates to play the sport!!!! cheers plz reply to this!!!

  • @Jammydadodger15

Originally from a fillm with AL Pacino but just changed for rugby

  • @sheltonjon any given sunday

  • @sheltonjon man the first part of the video is interesting, i like the words...but that music mess everything!

  • @Jammydadodger15 its the speech given by al pacino in a movie

  • @Jammydadodger15 shut up yooooouuuuu.

  • @Jammydadodger15 the film is called ' any given sunday' al pacino makes this speech great part of the film!

  • @Jammydadodger15

This is from Any Given Sunday.

  • In my opinion I think the British give the hardest hits in rugby.

  • lol at the failed attempt at a tackle at 6:27

  • it was a fail because it was against one of the greatest wingers ever.

  • amen.

  • any1 who thinks rugby and fotball r the same then u r fuckin retarded they r totaly different football is a pussie sport with all the pads in rugby u get very little or no paddin at all rugby is a pure man sport

  • moko8298 knows his stuff !!!! rugby is a mans sports . no pads , no helmets just balls!!!!!!

  • @nathrugby1 The nfl is manly to. if u look up rugby biggest hits and compare them with nfl's biggest hits nfl is way bigger and more painful, cus an average nfl player is a monster comaperd to an average rugby player. cause there alot bigger, thats why the where pads "the bigger they are the harder the fall"

  • @FrankPrankTingley these players are not average rugby players. they're above average thats why there so fucking beast , and i dont think u've actually seen an average player cuz even them are pretty fucking big. and the only reason why nfl hits would be harder is cuz of the pads not the person and most of the impact is absorbed and spread out evenly through out the body where in rugby u feel the whole fucking pain and still continue

  • @FrankPrankTingley

No, the hits are harder BECAUSE they wear pads. They also bounce more because of the padding.

  • @nathrugby1 truer words have never been spoken

  • deltron7 is a stupid fucktard !! why are you talking about the war you fucking mong !!!! its a clip of rugby hits not d-day landings !!!!! pric !!!

  • Cheers for all the Americans that prefer rugby more than football

  • If you Europeans are so tough how come Germany walked all over all of u and us Americans had to go save ur ass?

  • And how come Americans like you are so ignorant and have big mouth. You sounded like a redneck. You must be one.

  • @Deltron7 the soviets really defeated the nazis not usa, so fuck off

  • @TheNicolasg14 You are fucking stupid.

  • There ya go again. Another dirty fucking south african. You cunts are the biggest faggots and weak fucks to play rugby. scratching and eye gouging. grow some ball you dog cunts.

  • Dude, they are the world champion. I think you are stupid. It doenst matter what you say, they are still the world chapion.

  • No doubt the hits in NFL are bigger, but that's because it's not a multiphase sport, they don't have to worry about what happens to the player or the ball. Also, pretty much every position is represented in these big hits, you get a fly half making massive hits, but could a quarterback do the same if somehow he got the opportunity? Probably not, that said football hits are bigger.

  • Why the pads, helmets, tight sexy pants, blockers, timeout, coach decided what is the next move, game stops on every tackle, Taking off your helmets after you touched down just to show off. To me its a really gay sport. Thats why the world outside America prefer rugby because its a real man's sport

  • they are both hard fuckin sports that are tough to play, and football is a completely different game. it would be hard for anyone to switch from football to rugby or rugby to football. just show some fuckin respect(and i play rugby)

  • They're simply just two different games: rugby is a contact sport and football is a collision sport. They cannot be compared on impacts because they are simply different.

  • nfl players couldnt play rugby they would feel naked with out there pads the pussys. they wouldnt make a tackle knowing they could get hurt. rugby players would hit harder if they were in the nfl.

  • nfl IS still undoutibly one hell of a good game, ive played both. rugby is much more of a fitness sport then NFL

  • I've played both sports and they really are apples and oranges. If you consistently tackle in rugby the way you do in football you won't last a game .

Rugby players are great atheletes and football is slow-start/stop play.

Having said this, if america ever decided to supplant football with rugby they'd destroy every country in the world.

  • bullshit...usa tried to play football and they r shit at it..just cause they r big and strong dont change the fact they are unfit fucking retards

  • not true at all

  • Crazy guy at the start O.o

  • nevertheless haha this video is fucking sick

  • rugby players wouldnt last in NFL and NFL players wouldnt last in rugby, not because teh other is more intense it because the tackles and hitting and plays require different skills and each sport requires different training and skills in general they look similar but in reality they are not while some skills may transcend like speed power and agility technique is vastly different in the two sports as well as team play strategy and pace of the game.

  • Regardless of the skills invoIved, I think the difference is NFL players have very specific roles and are either very powerful or very agile athletes whereas rugby players are more all-round athletes with excellent cardio.

  • @BrettArlyn87 rugby players are waaaay better tacklers, cause they do it properly, instead of showing off and trying to knock someone out, whichy usually just looks bad

  • @BrettArlyn87 how many ways can there be to run into another guy? I guess NFL u need to get their knee on the floor, or make them spill it.

Rugby u need the same, but to make them spill the ball forward, then u need to getup quickly cos u have 16 forwards coming to pile on top.

  • @BrettArlyn87 garbage!

  • a bunch of players playing padded american football...those pads just make them look bigger....try playing rugby...its non-stop action with hard tackles...and you dont see ppl bleeding in american football...in rugby you can still bleed and play...
