Silva was the 4th ranked HW in the world at the time of this fight. An had just lost the UFC title. UFC tried to resign him but he wanted teh Fedor fight and more money. Once Fedor stomped him all the Silvia sucked chants started. An other then the UFC no one reconizes any fighters he fought up until this one.

He fought Tim S, Andrei A, and was ready for Corture. He's not dodging no one. He's not in the UFC cause Dana wont let him do other fights like Sambo tournament an M1 fights.

I agree... His interview with Sherdog shed some light on the subject of his not going to the UFC. Most people know he's part owner of M-1. He doesnt call the shots though. And in his interview he mentions he has 3 fights left on his M-1 contract that he's living up to. That's why he's not inthe discussions. Bodog, Affliction... He was a M-1 fighter being "rented" to them. Until those 3 fights are done he's theirs. He said when the fights are done he will see what's out there. So maybe next year.
