Wade Barret appeared to be neutral when he was on NXT. When he cut that "Winds of Change" Promo during the competition, he received a really good POP from the crowd. I didn't think Sheamus would be this effective as a Babyface but he is really doing well. I think at some point Wade Barret could do the same. I'm not craving to see a Barret 'face turn (at all) but its possible.
Barret could definitely be a face, that voice of his does wonders. All he has to do is go out there with that deep English accent and just say to some heel, "I'm going to destroy you," and the crowds going to go crazy.

What the hell went wrong with McIntyre? They brought him in and built him up as this 'chosen one' character - Then made him job to a Santino not once, but twice. Not that i dislike Marella (cracked up over the Santina soryline), but lets be honest. Marella is comic relief and nothing more Either use the guy or release him and let enough company (who won't make a fool of him) have the option to hire him.

However this meant he developed to much of an attitude so they instead stopped the streak and kept him in the mid-card. Then he was punished for the incident in an LA hotel when Tiffany got drunk and they had an argument (for which she was released). Even if he's losing to Santino, at least he's actually on Smackdown, this is the first push he's had in quite a few months...

I too think HHH/Y2J at WM 18 wasn't a Bad Match. Even HHH said that the Title Match shouldn't have been moved even though Rock/Hogan was the main selling point of the PPV that year.
I would like to see Barrett head a heel stable again, but one with more talent and heat in its ranks than the way-too-green Nexus. Perhaps something like a 21st century Four Horsemen with him, Ziggler, Rhodes, Bryan and maybe one or two others.

I was hoping they were going to take this direction back when triple h was voted no confidence but it looked like Christian would head the stable at that point. They were like the team of change or something like that. Have a look at Christian v.s John Morrison in street clothes but Barrett wasn't in the group, he would have been a great leader for it though.

@chickychang1 As an Irishman, I feel a certain amount of loyalty to Sheamus, but I wish he would stay the heel character he was during his WWE title run. Barrett, as I said in my other comment, works best I think as part of an ensemble.

I would love to see Shelton Benjamin back in the wwe, but I think it would do almost nothing for the company. he would probably end as a rug mat to the new talents.
Wade Barrett is the bad guy people love to hate. Cocky and arrogant, he already was a champion and in years to come he and Sheamus would have great feuds. Barrett got all the ingridients to match anyone in wwe. if he play a good guy, I think he would have to stay with the attitute and turn it up a notch.
Dolph Ziggler winning the tittle don't mean much, he still needs to improove on his mic skills. he got awful mic skills, he is learning. he got Vicky with him because she plays the role of a sensational sherri to a young shawn michaels. What does the US title have to do to mean something, dolph ziggler held the title for 7 months, held it against a lot of the mid card, and looked strong doing it. Brock Lesnar isn't under contract with UFC, his contract ended soon after he retired from UFC. And in my opinion, possible returns in the rumble are: RVD, Brock Lesnar, Goldberg. RVD wants to come back to the WWE and WWE wants him too, the only problem is that he's still under contract with TNA, but WWE could pay the contract off to end it sooner. Goldberg said he's gonna return to wrestling before the end of 2011 in OVW if I'm not mistaking, but he didn't, so everyone gave up on him. Sooooo....

I totally get why HHH didn't like how his match was placed on the card. The Hogan/Rock match was also probably the first time I noticed how fickle fans are. Just to correct one thing - the Jericho-Michaels feud was definitely not a PG one.
first of all it took place on mid-2008 when the WWE was still not rated PG, second -
it featured an Ultra-Violent match in Unfrogiven 2008 and Shawn's wife getting punched right in the face.
In my opinon this was one of the last great feuds in WWE becfore it turned PG and pretty much waterd down the product.

I was hoping they were going to take this direction back when triple h was voted no confidence but it looked like Christian would head the stable at that point. They were like the team of change or something like that. Have a look at Christian v.s John Morrison in street clothes but Barrett wasn't in the group, he would have been a great leader for it though.

@chickychang1 As an Irishman, I feel a certain amount of loyalty to Sheamus, but I wish he would stay the heel character he was during his WWE title run. Barrett, as I said in my other comment, works best I think as part of an ensemble.

Wade Barrett is the bad guy people love to hate. Cocky and arrogant, he already was a champion and in years to come he and Sheamus would have great feuds. Barrett got all the ingridients to match anyone in wwe. if he play a good guy, I think he would have to stay with the attitute and turn it up a notch.

Um This is gonna be hard for a lot of you to swallow, including you Aaron but the Hart/HBK thing was kayfabe . That was evident upon the return of Bret Hart to the WWE. Bret was hostle towards the WWE because of what happened to his brother Owen. The animosity between Bret and Shawn was fake, fiction and scripted. It's wrestling, remember.

I've found you appreciate the show and the superstars more when you see it as art based on reality and not the other way around. Brock Lesnar isn't under contract with UFC, his contract ended soon after he retired from UFC. And in my opinion, possible returns in the rumble are: RVD, Brock Lesnar, Goldberg. RVD wants to come back to the WWE and WWE wants him too, the only problem is that he's still under contract with TNA, but WWE could pay the contract off to end it sooner. Goldberg said he's gonna return to wrestling before the end of 2011 in OVW if I'm not mistaking, but he didn't, so everyone gave up on him. Sooooo....

I think there should be alot of surprises in this years Rumble. Possibilities:
Road dogg, Billy Gunn, X-pac, Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, Goldberg, Batista, Bobby Lashley, Matt Hardy, Stone Cold, HHH, Chyna and Shawn Michaels.
As for Dolph winning the title. I think there's a good chance Jericho would help Dolph win. And Dolph would face Kofi, Truth or Rey at Mania for the title. Which would be an awesome match with either of them. I think it's been Dolph's time since his feud with Edge.

I totally get why HHH didn't like how his match was placed on the card. The Hogan/Rock match was also probably the first time I noticed how fickle fans are. Think about it, it's kinda similar to Cena/Rock now. Back then The Rock was the guy who was there week after week, entertaining the masses, awesome promos and feuds, etc. And then comes Hogan who hadn't been in the company for years and fans turn on The Rock and cheer the shit out of Hogan. @charmer2323 true, I think the titles should be held a lot longer, it gives them prestige, looking at the intercontinental title, Cody has got better while holding it making it look better, same with Ziggler when he held the US title so I hope they give punk a good run while we see him grow. If they stop restricting him so much then that is what we will see. To be fair, since punk and triple h became "friends" it looks like he has gone down hill, part of his character died at that time :/
