Imam Hussain (as) did marry a persian princess. It is a well known fact with many traditions in our authentice books. When the Muslims conqured the old persian empire the empror of the time had 3 daughters. Of them one was Married to Imam Hussein (as) the 2nd was married to Imam Hassan(as) i think and the 3rd was married to Mohammed the son of Abu Baker

there are 2 narrations. one states she passed away upon the birth of imam sajjad

2nd states she was in karbala and upon the martyrdom of her husband she was so upset that she she left and went back to Iran and there is a shrine in iran dedicated to her.

but the first narration is more credible that she passed away upon the birth of imam sajjad as she fell ill and imam hussain was heart broken upon her departure she was most probably buried in janatul baqi. May Allah bless her pure soul
