Scarlett Strallen is good but she is also a real snob and she does not like her fans most sadly. She treats them like dirt and leave sthem out in the rain waiting for autograph's. Ive just heard she is going to be at the Chichester Festival theatre in the Summer with Daniel Crossley who played Bert on the UK tour of Mary Poppins and Adam Cooper the dancer from Billy Elliot the film. The thre are doing a new production of Singing in the rain. Should be great. I hope and pray I can get tickets.xx

Knowing her dedication, focus and passion, I am not surprised that she's having such a successful career. She deserved her big break on Broadway.

nahh Scarlett is sooooo good. She doesn't even act, she like...IS Mary Poppins. She's spectacular. haha i am obsessed with her. I REALLY wish there were more videos of her on youtube, i saw her on broadway and i really want to watch her more but i CANT because there are barely any videos of her =[

@lhugo08 did you know that Scarlett Strallen is going to be performing alongside Gareth Gates at the lovely Manchester Bridgewater hall in a concert called Valentines at the musicals this weekend? I am seeing her in Birmingham on Sunday and can not wait. She was a great Mary on Broadway.

Scarlett Strallen is absolutely amazing, spectacular, and of course, SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOC­IOUS! I saw her and I think she is so much better than Ashley Brown! Scarlett IS Mary Poppins! She is a combination of Laura Michelle Kelly and the wonderful, Julie Andrews! She gets into character the whole show even when she was just in the backround. Amazing show and Scarlett amazed me! Her voice was stunning, her acting superb, and her dancing amazing! I would 100% recommend seeing the show!

they are going to remake the movie once the National tour has finished because they want to use the original Broadway cast in the film aswell as the Broadway script and scrore and the film will be directed by Richard Eyre aswell

No dates have been set yet but I can not wait to find out more

That is SO bs. They would never do a re-make of the film. It's a classic.

Although, according to somebody I've spoken with that works with Cameron Mackintosh, there are tentative plans to film the production or do something of that nature once ALL of the productions have closed. Now, let's not wish that time away, shall we?

no its true because it was in a London newspaper last week with a full blown picture of Julie Andrews and Richard Van Dyke in the Jolly Holiday scene

They are going to film the production once all the tours are finished etc but it is most certainly true about the film being remade

summer wasnt actually that good in the sound of music i thought. scarlett is obviously a better actress, a better singer, more attractive and just incredible.

Ive seen her sister Summer Strallen in Londons the Sound of Music and she was amazing and she looks and sounds so like Scarlett does....

of course she is better than ashley.. but i dont hate ashley i like ashley its just that i like scarlett better. i saw her on december 2007 and also she already took over the role of MARY POPPINS 3 times now. twice in London and 1 in broadway!!!

i saw her on dec 26, she was AMAZING i got an autograph from her after the show and she was very sweet, didnt miss an autograph, stopped to take pics with evry1 and just overall a spoonful of sugar :)

plus she is very beautiful.
