the alto and tenor are equal. Deal with it. none of them are better, but together, they can beat anything, that is, both of their epic musicness combined can kill any other type of music. Deal with it.

@KWOOTfluke No kidding. Actually all Saxophones are awesome... Even Bari, Bass and so on... Especially those. Alto and Tenor are just the ones most commonly seen/heard. It doesn't help that most of the time Saxes get the dumb parts in Music programs in schools.

@punkrockgoth1988 Well, its because the alto is easier to get and play, the same goes for the tenor except it has a nice low sound to it. I agree with you on how they get the crappy parts, our music department was going to disney world in orlando, i was the only alto, we were playing viva la vida and i got to play the eighth notes. thats it. xD But search up songs like "Pilatus" and some Courtly aires and dances, #4 has a bad ass tenor part.

@SgtPepper1200 which sheet music di you use the only sheet music listed is for piano, trumpet and clarinet. I play both tenor and baritone and I wanted to know what you used for tenor

@IIIColinIII you can use the clarinet sheet music for the tenor sax since they are both Bb instruments. As for the Bari sax you would have to transpose for an Eb instrument yourself since there is no Eb sheet music on that site. I hope this helps, keep on playin'!
