These two have quite a bit in common, but Chucky was able to make a better name for himself despite having less movies than the Leprechaun. The Leprechaun has an aggressive side, but his playful side seems to have held him back from more exposure. His image was already enough of a gamble, so instead of making it horrifyng to the fullest, he kind of embraced it's charm that it's known to have. Chucky however, took his image into something more horrifying( as if wasn't affective enough).
