Boy I wonder if those Baseball Team Owners were really as corrupt and evil as they are portrayed in movies like "The Babe" or "8 men out" ? They just seem like the worst people ever! @Bigrusssthefuss Charles Comiskey should be kicked out of the HOF and the White Sox should rename their stadium.I`ve never really sat down and watched the movie but I`ve read the book it was based on.Super cheap-even cheaper than Branch Rickey,which is saying a lot.He would promise the players bonuses if they reached certain goals then would bench them if it looked like they were going to accomplish them.Eddie Cicotte was kept out of rotation after he won his 29th game(1919)needed 30 for bonus!

The main reason that Yankee Stadium, Fenway Park and Wrigley Field are so special and remain icons of sports is that Babe Ruth played in them and made history. That made them famous and special for all others who came behind him.
