@theboredfilms I wish they would make it for consols, but it won't happen. Consols don't have the computing power that pc's do. Consols just can't handle any type of stratagy other than a few people shooting at you. Look at what happened to civilization Civ 4 was great and very detailed. Civ revolution for the consols is cartoonish, and nothing but a big fight with little stratagy at all. That is why i got a gaming pc. With a gaming pc you can play the fps, as well as in depth stratagy games.

YO im just going to buy one and play multilayer so I can play all of the races. No point in paying for all 3 races. no point in watching the campaign, if you want videos just watch alien vs predator.
you do realize the next installments are going to add new units to each race right?? just like the brood war expansion. only there will be 2 of them instead of just one.
and the terran campagin is just as long (if not longer) as the entire campaign in starcraft1. Might not be as much as much variety, but you still get everything you pay for. And with all the upgrades and mission variation i've seen this game should be fine even if its only as one race.
No one is 100% sure how it will work, however, the general idea so far is that you`ll purchase Wings of Liberty first(let`s say for $60), and then you can purchase the next two individually at expansion pack prices($20-30).
Luckily, complete mulitplayer as well as map editor will be available on any game you decide to purchase.

YO im just going to buy one and play multilayer so I can play all of the races. No point in paying for all 3 races. no point in watching the campaign, if you want videos just watch alien vs predator.

and the terran campagin is just as long (if not longer) as the entire campaign in starcraft1. Might not be as much as much variety, but you still get everything you pay for. And with all the upgrades and mission variation i've seen this game should be fine even if its only as one race.

No one is 100% sure how it will work, however, the general idea so far is that you`ll purchase Wings of Liberty first(let`s say for $60), and then you can purchase the next two individually at expansion pack prices($20-30).
Luckily, complete mulitplayer as well as map editor will be available on any game you decide to purchase.

but starcraft 2 has two expansion pack. each will contain more new units and maps in each expansion pack and as well as the zerg and protoss single player campaign is each seperate expansion pack.

Ability to buy upgrades and troops before each mission? SC1 single player wasn't great but SC2 looks very promising and epic.

If you are really a fan of StarCraft and any other Blizzard franchise then you should already know that Blizzard will never set a release date because their motto is "it will be done when its done" and you should also know that they split the three races into three different games, one for terran, zerg, and toss. This is to further develop the story of single player for each race. Or just another way to cash in on three different games.

You dont understand, its a 3 part series, so this is SC2 part 1. it focuses on the terrans for singleplayer campain but the other two parts are protos and zerg and will be released later
