To contine my comments on my friend. They were partners for twenty-five years. Yesterday I got news that they are trying to take half of the Calif. house...and ppl want to know why we want civil unions or a constitional amendment? Get real...please.

I can only imagine what would have happend if she had not died in the accident and my friend wanted to visit in the hospital. They didn't even want to give her the rings that they had exchanged. Yes, I am AS MAD AS HELL WHILE STILL GREIVING!

I want to vomit when I see what is done to lesbians. When my best friend got news of her domestic partners' sudden death in Tennessee she flew there right away. They were domestic partners here (Calif.). They had a house here and one there where they were planning to retire in, but where having trouble selling this one because of the market. When I saw what the relatives of my lesbian best friend did to her in Tennessee I wanted to vomit. She was told.." I know you were domestic partners in Calif. but if means noting here, everyting is ours now". All that they were building, including bank accounts and IRA's, the home, etc. it's gone. Actually, science shows that modern evolution acting on human beings is not a passing on of genes, but of memes. In addition to that, our closest relatives, the bonobos are inherently bisexual. The fact that homosexuality is not "extinct" and is present in every species proves you wrong. If it were the mark of "inferiors" how on earth are they here today?

Evolution teaches the survival of the fittest. Since homosexuals cannot reproduce offspring, they cannot continue in the fight for survival, and thus are an inferior "species." I'm sure that no homosexual would like to think of himself/herself in this manner, but their own philosophies would lead them to that conclusion. There is no denying it that their lifestyle contradicts the natural order of things.

Yeah, but you're forgetting that homosexuality is not genetic. Straight people can give birth to a gay child. Therefore whether gays are able to produce offspring or not does not matter.

If being gay is not natural, why does it happen? Who decides what is natural and why?
