  • I noticed that you said that you were 9 or 10 wks post op before your 1st fill. I am just under 4 wks post op and have lost 7 lbs since surgery and I am down a total of 25 lbs since the 13th of April. I am not able to do any cardio exercises due to a foot injury. I am supposed to get a fill but I don't see the point yet if I am averaging about 2.5 lbs a week. Stressing on if I should tell my Dr I want to wait. Any advise?

  • where sis you have your surgery ?

  • thank you for the information! you look awesome!

  • You look great!

  • congrats on your success Wendy!! I think your videos are great....and so is your 30 pound loss! woooo hooooo

  • W2G on your weightloss. Just Wonderful :-)

  • It is fun to see you looking well and doing great. I am sure you are glad to have the first fill behind you.... now it is not the scary unknown.

Congratulations again and keep up your hard work.

  • W2g on weightloss! That's wonderful :-)

  • thanks! wow 6cc's and getting another fill. . .how many cc's does your band hold? have a good one.

  • Congrats you're doing great my first fill was 4cc and it was a breeze, my second fill 6cc's . Ny next fill date is June 9th . My first fill I was on liquid for one week. This is 13 weeks for me and 47 lbs down. Again Congrats!!

  • Hay Wendy, congrats on 30 pounds in 10 weeks. Your doing great!! They do things very different w/ all fill adjustments I see. They do yours standing up and they do mines laying down, I have to stay on a 2 day liquid diet and then continue with soft foods for 2 days and you have to stay on a 2 week liquid diet (which is krazy) LOL. Im glad you got restriction on your 1st fill. I had 3 cc's put in on surgery day. I guess its different for everyone. Great video.

  • thanks! I will be in NYC from June 27 - 30. If you are free one night (it seems like you live out of the city) and want to hook up for cocktails or exercise I would be up for it. just a thought. If not, we'll keep supporting each other here in this space. have a good one. P.S. Krazy is an understatement!

  • woo hoo! wtg and thanks for describing the fill in detail, i've always been really curious about the actual process. :) i too, have a youtube addiction! it's awesome here! :D

    thanks, Sarah. xoxo

  • you are welcome. take care!

  • I dont get any numbing stuff...no fair..lol

  • Congrats on the 30lbs!!!!!

  • yay! thx.

  • Holy frickin' crap! 2 weeks of liquid diet post-fill? That's NUTS! I've never heard that before. I had to do 24 hours of clear liquids and then eased back into mushies for a day and then back to regular soft food. You're gonna friggin' melt!!! :)

  • Sounds like it's all going great! Congrats on your awesome weight loss. I had 5.5 cc's put in at surgery and 1cc at my first fill, so I have 6.5 cc's in my 10cc band.

  • yes, things are a'right over here. thank you! 6.5 cc's, thx.

  • Ok, 2nd try at posting this (darn you YouTube! lol) Just curious, do u keep the band in forever or take it out once u reach ur goal? And if it can be taken out, what is to stop one from overeating & gaining again? Also, with losing fairly rapidly with no exercise is there more risk for ending up with loose, sagging skin?

  • yes, the band is meant to be kept forever. of course, if needed you can have it removed or just unfilled. if the band is removed, i guess it would be your own will power to keep you from gaining weight. i have gained and lost weight (alot of it) over the last 14 years and i have some of that loose skin at the start. i have been walking a few times a week and actually went to the gym and started a running program tonight. any type of exercise that you incorporate is going to effect the skin

  • Hi Wendy, Was wondering, what happens after you lose all the weight you want? Do you keep the band in forever or do they remove it? If they remove it, what is to stop a person from overeating and gaining it all back again? Just curious! Thanks for the vids :)

  • I'm not really sure what will happen when i get to the point of loosing all that i want. at that point seems so far away. it will be about maintenance. the band will be in the "sweet spot" as related to fills and i will still have to manage my food and exercise. i do believe that if you do not follow the rules you can gain it back. the band is a tool - not the answer. i think. take care.

  • Sounds like your doing awesome!

    Thanks for all the info!

    Take care!

  • i'll take awesome. hope you are better than well. thx.

  • Wendy's u rock keep posting ur videos

  • you are sweet! thanks.

  • hey girl, sounds like your fill went well. great video, inspiring and educational. haha :-D

  • thanks! yes, things are good here. i even got my ass to the gym tonight. i am doing the couch to 5k workout. i was just happy i actually found the gym and they were opened. oh and they had a tredmill for me to use. lol! take care.

  • Congratulations on the 30 lbs with no fill!!!!

  • thank you!
