  • a 12 year old (thats me) could make this drink while watchen the game at the same time cookin pancakes before eating a baked patato without a fork. i think its just to give a general idea of a magarita.

  • wait......no salt at a bar?

  • I'm going to have to agree with everyone who commented. That was a half-assed margarita recipe. I would never recommend a goofy pre-made mix. You should use fresh lime juice, Cointreau or Tuaca, Silver or Reposado Tequila by Don Eduardo or Patron, and some simple syrup to balance the sour dominance. The Bird recipe is geared for profit & not quality.

  • unfortunately you don't have a clue bird brain. That's not a margharita. Real recipe as follows: 1 1/2 fresh limes squeezed, 1 oz triple sec or cointreau, 3 oz Patron silver, all ingrediants in shaker with ice, shake like a mofo, tall glass rimmed with kosher salt and garnished with lime. Yumm

  • tried it at my cuz b-day. wuz good. thx man

  • this guy has so many videos, yet makes drinks so crappy. that "bird" bar is probably the only tavern in town, so everyone just accepts his half-ass cocktails without question.

  • nothin like the fresh taste of margarita mix from a plastic bottle thats been sitting at the grocery store for god knows how long.

  • guys,.i think all of us know that it is a wrong version of margarita on a rocks everything is wrong even the glass is wrong

take not: the glass is just recyled from a different contains.,aha!

  • Remind me not to order a Margarita if I visit this bar. :P

I take offense because the Margarita is the only drink I really know how to make.

1.5 oz Tequila (100% Agave reposado)

    1 oz lime juice

    .5 oz Cointreau

    1/4 lime pc.

Rather than use the lime piece as garnish squeeze and add the piece to the shaker so you get some of the pulp. Shake all with ice and strain into old fashioned glass.

If I have guests over I use a splash of Patron Silver and an additional .5 oz of Gran Marnier at the end.

  • ugliest margarita ive ever seen!!!

plus what kinda "professional" cocktail bar doesnt have any salt behind bar!!!

reminds me of the time i did a tequila shot with pepper coz they didnt have any salt!

  • 50% sweet & sour mix?? and by the way imao u have to shake it, don't you

  • if it mixes as you pour no you dont have to shake

shaking it is when you have ice in it to chill it but this is the most basic rita recipie ever.

i came up with a perfect one and so far everyone loves it.
