  • Bond uses the Walther PPK which is in .380 ACP not 9mm DOUCHENOOBS!!!!

  • its funny cuz when they censor the provider of the gun what she said was dillon aero

  • fps russia did it witha m249

  • death machine XD watch fpsrussia

  • wtf? at description Please keep the comments clean, and play nice. I will delete any comments that I don;t like . So don't waste your time arguing or cursing. Thank you! play nice? :DD lol.. nice tags btw :D lal

  • Bwuuaaaaahhh!!!

  • Top Secret? I think she means Blackwater

  • If people would look closer the 9mm rounds don't even go through the wall of the tank, they just bounce off...

  • Woe.......

  • She looks like Claudia from Warehouse 13....

  • Somewhere in the world, Hank Hill weeps...

  • can someone tell me why the propane tank explodes? you would think the bullet would simply puncture the outside releasing all the pressure inside. why does it explode?

  • @ThePustr117 the bullets are inciendiary (they have some chemicals on them that makes it burn as it exists the barrel) so when it hits the tank it ignites the gas

  • @ThePustr117 In real life thats exactly what happens. Thats why the incendiaries are necessary

  • @BoredLikeHelI Ive shot a 44magnum into a small tank before and it had touble geting through one side, and never made it out the other. and thats not a pussy handgun haha.

  • @TheeVandal me and my friends shot a .357 magnum and some .45-70 gov. into some propane tanks and they all made it through the first layer easily....of course .45-70 is a rifle round and the tanks blew up because we kept open flames next to them but you get the point

and it all comes down to bullet choice also....you probably shot a human/hunting round but if you used armor piercing of FMJ you wouldve had more penetration

  • @BoredLikeHelI thts true. in most movies i watch they dont have armor piercing rounds though. im going with the movie "theme"

  • @TheeVandal yeah i get your point. what i dislike about mythbusters is that if THEY cant do it, its IMPOSSIBLE. i mean its totally probable that a guy shooting a normal .357 magnum FMJ (for example because thats what i know) at a propane tank would make it explode (sparks, penetration) but it is totally overused and exaggerated in movies though

  • @BoredLikeHelI you thats like the go-to-thing in movies for a quick "oooh look it went boom"

but i get your point too.

  • @TheeVandal *OR fmj

  • @BoredLikeHelI fmj?

  • @TheeVandal fullmetaljacket.....imagine a hollow point round but without the hollow point and completelly covered in a coppered jacket.....alot more penetration than a normal round but at the cost of less expansion

  • Its a small thing, but... didn't 007 use a .380? Not that it would invalidate this test... a .380 being less potent than a 9mm.

  • Why do you guys hate mythbusters so much

  • I like the kind of explosion were you have a propane tank on a fire so that it pressurises and explodes with a rain of shrapnel.

  • Well so much for using a propane tank and a 22 caliber to clear my path of zombies...LOL

  • Where are we? We're right here...OMG now that was funny!!!

  • I hate mythbusters they contaminate the world

  • I sell propane, and propane accessories

  • Recorded with a SONY potato ©

  • well, FPSRussia blew up a propane tank with a 5,56 bullet... and what if the propane tank that were in the 007 movie was custom made and was really thin (i know it's far fetched but it's possible, mythbusters failed again)

  • @TheSadSadBanana I believe FPSRussia was using Tannerite for his explosion scenes.. I believe.. But i don't know, why you don't ask him?

custom made propane tank? Maybe they're rigged explosive material under it..

  • Busted, Totally Basted :)

  • It may have been said before, but I'm sure somewhere, Hank Hill woke up in a cold sweat.

  • WHO TOUCHED SASHA!!!

  • Mythbusters have the best jobs ever,

    why can't I have that?

I Have a Cool uncle though

can't be a mythbuster and have a cool uncle

  • Did they try a m16 or something similar in this myth :S

  • my question is, what is a 007 movie WITHOUT hollywood

  • @hootergirlsrhot Never say Never? :P

  • i wonder what 9mm rounds they were using. I wonder if +P+ would have at least punctured the tank.

  • Gatling gun eh?

  • And I will say stuff it and get a bazooka

  • it would of been fair to use the 9mm incindiery rounds in a glock 17

  • What if the 9mm bullets hit the same place over and over till it gets pierced?

  • Comment removed

  • Ladies and Gentleman, the single handed cause of global warming

  • "Where are we?"

    "We're right here."

    lmfao

  • why are the other vids Russian ??

  • I destroy propane and propane accessories.

  • Re-re-re-compressed video + 240p, we meet again = TOTAL FAIL

  • hehe, anyone within 50 miles on the day they did this now knows where jamie's secret location is.

  • their friends a AREA 51!!!!!!!!!

  • 7N21 would have atleast pierced it out of a "9mm"

  • 0.75$ per bullet

  • hehheh.. propane :]

  • The problem: Did they shoot the propane tank with a PISTOL firing incendiaries? Apparently not.

  • @stickstriker Well that would probably be because tracers/incendiaries are illegal and highly controlled. Also highly visible and traceable. Not something James would ever use. This was a last ditch effort to destroy as they do in every single episode where they cant destroy something by the myth.

  • @stickstriker The problem: Did you listen to 0:46? Apparently not.

  • Did somebody say propane and propane accessories?

  • @seddonk123 Me want some. Me want them now.

  • 3000 rounds per minute isn't even that fast considering the weapon type. That's barely twice what your run of the mill MAC-11 shoots. The GSh-6-23, for example shoots around 10,000 rounds per minute. The Metal Storm shoots at roughly 1,000,000 rounds per minute, but of course it only holds around 180 rounds. On a more reasonable scale, the Dread Weapon System does a solid 120,000 rounds per minute.

  • We are right here, ^_^ lol

  • incendary stuff in the tip and the middle of the bullet. Thats 61 % mor bullet per Bullet.

  • And this, boys and girls, is why you get the P-99 with .40 S&W rounds.

  • Comment removed

  • What about propane accessories?

  • I think a 9 mm bullet with low uranium (having wasted its radioactivity) could penetrate the gas tanks at least, and make a better spark to blow the tank.

  • i wish americans would learn to pronounce words correctly.

  • @Sporcoification I wish people bashing other countries on the internet would at least be polite enough to use proper grammar.

  • Now please imagine what happens when you put a 20mm automatic cannon in that position, firing at the same 600rpm faster than the M134 minigun. M61 Vulcan ftw!

  • How did I get here from imma fireing mah lazer?

  • dang it bobby!

  • Jory Caron used a microwave

  • Thus proving the myth that propane burns when ignited.

  • They borrowed the mini-gun from the Los Angeles Militia and shot the propane tank in Lancaster California.

  • Comment removed

  • @bobcheese427 lol

  • It actually costs around $27.900 a minute so top guy was over exaggerating

  • @HazorTheHopeEnder

Team Fortress 2 reference. The Heavy uses a Minigun. In " Meet the Heavy trailer " que talks about the minigun, and exlpains how many bullets does it fire. It is not a real number, it is just from the game.

  • @HazorTheHopeEnder Its a game reference

  • Wow this video has at least 4 pixels! I remember 2003

  • Probably could have accomplished the same thing with a single incendiary round, but wouldn't have been nearly as fun. Minigun FTW!

  • It costs $12 to fire this gun. for 400,000 seconds

  • @mentalkid300000 11.11 hours 0-o?

  • @mentalkid300000 400,000 seconds = 111.1 hours WTF are you saying Kid don't talk about stuff you don't know about.

  • @saf768 its a joke. watch Team Fortress 2 meet heavy weapons guy.

  • @MrMatto91 no

  • @MrMatto91 i prefer the slav

  • @mentalkid300000

$12 for 111 hours of constant fire, that's a very economic weapon!

  • @mentalkid300000 ? lol

  • @mentalkid300000 Bravo, nobody saw that coming.

  • @mentalkid300000

    i dont get it...

  • @max8987 Watch "Meet the Heavy" you'll get it after you watch it.

  • You idiots. that comment is a quote from team fortress 2.

  • God dang it Bobby!!!!

  • u mad Terminator?

  • how much is a round?

  • No accessories

  • .308 ammo-1000 rnds for $400.00 delivered.

    50 rds per second x 12 seconds-600 rounds.

    do the math.

  • @angsq76 i cant. do it for me please.

  • @noconflictbanana

    It's a TF2 reference *facepalm*

  • California sucks

  • It costs ONLY 2000$ - 4000$ to fire this gun for 60 seconds

  • since when mini gun shots 15 round per sec thats 900 round in one min ??? More like 3600 round per min or 60 rounds per sec even an mg42 from ww 2 shoot 1200 per min -.-

  • @gamefreak1000000 lol dad from "the king of the hill"

  • Hank Hill made 117 accounts to dislike this.

  • very polluting the atmosphere for a hobby .. very selfish

  • @topan959 Get off your computer and go hug a tree!

  • DL the audio from this track at speedyconversion doht cohm.

  • In real life You can Get lucky and get 2 bullets in one hole,Dont believe me? go to the shooting range.

  • Dear santa.........

  • Why not just put these rounds into a pistol and making the myth plausible ?!

  • i sell propane and propane accessories

  • @AnotherVGP Imagine if they legalized Incideary rounds and mini-guns everywhere....imagine the uptick in Propane sales!

  • 50 rounds per second... a lot of waste.

  • thanks for this

  • Technically speaking this video is not funny. Usually people shoot other people with this weapon. But I admit this video is awesome!!!

  • what about where you shoot it??

  • Hah! I watched Casino Royale last night!

  • Jamie's secret place is FPS Russia's back yard

  • The presenters are a bunch of drama queens.

They act like crap child actors.

  • @Photonzos

That's the charm. They're special effects people, sculptors, model makers and electronics expert(s). None of them are professional entertainers.

  • It is not only about the incendiary power of the bullet, there is also spark power of some steel or armor piercing rounds. Copper and lead are very poor spark producers. Before going all the way to incendiary rounds they should have explored rounds that are more "sparky". I am sure there must be some 9mm round out there that goes through a propane tank and also gives spark when it hits in which case it is boom.

  • One shot from the would have blown it up

  • keep pressing 2

  • @woolenitus

    :D :D :D :D :D You killed me :D

  • hey but wait you guys were far away so wtf he was like 40 ft away

  • THEY TOOK HEAVYS GUN

  • @CrazyBoyDD Thats associated with team fortress 2, am i right?

  • @SsbbMarth1719 Correct

  • Where are we? .. We're right here!

  • he could have done it with a 9mm incendiary pistol round

  • I can do that with a single surplus 7.62 x 54R API round fired from my WWI bolt-action Mosin-Nagant rifle. Even including the $76 I paid for the gun, it's still cheaper than the minigun, which should be saved for more fun things..

  • Love the destruction so graceful

  • Hank Hill will be soo mad..

  • @NearlyGood13 Taste the meat not the heat

  • @NearlyGood13 BWAHAAAHA

  • Mythbusters claim to be so "green", and so "clean", yet through out their show, up until the very last episode they've burned more gasoline and other toxic materials, created tons of black pollutant smoke.. its all buisneness.. global warming has been proven to be a complete al gore FRAUD!

  • @rifleman0007 this is a myth busters video, enough with the anti global warming nonsense. Enjoy the gatling gun !

  • I think these people have too much time and way too much money IF they think that this is useful / educational or even entertaining (well maybe to teenage boys.)

The whole basis of this show is to test if completely fantastical situations from TV / films etc are possible.... ???

Gee whiz .... propane will explode if you rake the tank with a gatlin gun using incendiary rounds FFS!!! what a waste of time and money that could be used for some better purpose

  • Mythbuster: we blow stuff up and still get paid.

  • if we had a dollar for every round per second on a belt clip ...... we would have a lot of dollars

  • there have phosphorous in them

  • Another advertisement for machinegun ...

    :/

  • Typical trigger-happy yanks.

  • @AngstyKid Yeah, and were proud of it! lol

  • @AngstyKid

You say that like it's a bad thing.

  • they should shoot at the edge of the tank

  • they should of just talked to fps russia...

  • 112 people tried this at home anf failed

  • SPY IS PROPANE TANK!

  • That pretty much sums up American gun laws.

    I love this country.

  • Wouldn't FMJ bullets do it?

  • @Stayontargetprod FMJ would only ignite the propane if it sparked on the metal or something. FMJ rounds don't make those mini explosions like MW2 implies. FMJ is just a metal jacket over the lead core of a bullet. It's not explosive or anything, it just helps with penetration.

  • It takes $400,000 to fire this gun. for 12 seconds

  • @bakuboy88 Only while playing Team Fortress 2:)

  • @bakuboy88 that is completely false

  • @jetman1963 It's a videogame quote, search this video and you will understand the joke "Team Fortress 2 - Meet the Heavy" ;)

  • @bakuboy88 wrong only 600$

  • @bakuboy88 Bollocks.

  • @bakuboy88 850 bullets don't cost 400,000 bucks... lol

  • @dengladepostman Its a video game reference.

  • @bakuboy88 LOL Way off there buddy... It cost maybe $1000-$1500 to shoot for 12 seconds. Your only talking about 850 rounds, and $1000 is pushing it, probably a lot less than that.

  • @bakuboy88 lol, did you make this up or what

  • @bakuboy88 how do know this ?

  • @lestube001 Team fortress 2 meet the heavy

    your welcome

  • @bakuboy88 I want it haha

  • @bakuboy88 so 600 bullets cost 400,000 dollars? where did you get that number from

  • @bakuboy88 50 rounds a second x 12 seconds=600 rounds. $400,000 / 600= $666.666 per round. How'd you come up with that number?

  • @spanishforjames TF2 reference

  • @spanishforjames Team Fortress 2, Meet the Heavy, look it up.

  • WHO TOUCHED MY GUN!!

  • Am I the only one whos gonna make a TF2 joke?.. Really?... .. Okay....

    *pretends to be heavy*

    MYTHBUSTERS EEZ CREDIT TO TEAM!

  • Hank Hill's gonna be pissed if he ever sees this...

  • 2:08 Skip to the action. :)

  • hank from king of the hill sold them the propane tank

  • FPSRussia can do it with a smaller gun

  • aww man look at all the pollution! your destroying the earth!, jk, i hate earth.
