JESUS never had long hair.He was not a Nazarite, but a Nazarene from Nazareth. Men who had taken a Nazarite vow , could not drink wine ,or touch the dead . JESUS did both. Not criticizing you , just teaching.Paul says it is a shame for a man to have long hair , and he dishonors Jesus if he wears it so .Long hair is the beauty of the woman , and her covering.
@jimthigpen333 Just a few corrections: 1. Jesus never touched anyone dead, they were revived. 2. He never drank wine, I'm not quite sure where you got that from. 3 Jesus did have long hair, you are just misunderstanding what Paul was saying as it doesn't translate well. The idiom is that a man should not assume the role of a woman or in other words be a homosexual. Writings from Pontius Pilate give a fairly detailed description of Jesus, describing him having long hair.
@weirdyoda04 Wrong. A Nazarite could not drink wine, or touch the dead. Jesus was not a Nazarite. The dead He raised WERE dead. You can believe what you will. I know Jesus Himself. Quote," My sheep know Me, they hear My voice, and they follow Me. Not church or religion , as both are totally useless. No one gets to The Father , except through Jesus Himself.
@jimthigpen333 In my experience comment pages are by far and away the worst places to discuss biblical topics for a variety of reasons so further debate on the topic is futile for both of us regardless of who is correct. That said I would strongly recommend you look into the 'Companion Bible' by E. W. Bullinger. Have a fantastic day, sir:)
@weirdyoda04 Then why did you comment in the first place? I have a teacher already, His name is Jesus. I have the Word of GOD already, and have studied it for thirty years. Not books or comments from sinners, but the scriptures taught by God Himself. BIG difference.
Always like him till i saw him. Now he aint so funny.
