What I like about your style is that we don't have to wait until the final image to see art.
Your mark making at the very beginning is pleasing to look at.
Most of the time, I'm cringing at the poor line quality or chicken scratch that someone is using in his speed painting. Then it's blurred out and the final image is decent.
I much more respect the art that is done without the abuse of smudging and blurring.
question, what particular brushes and settings do you happen to use for most of this.
as it appears like it is a more painterly blocking in of shapes.
which even with a intuos and cs5 i don't usually get that. for the most part i can get what i want however, i am usually stuck in a type of watercolor type functionality. which i have grown accustomed to, but would still like to know other options.
@TheArtz19 I use a standard round brush with opacity dependent on tablet pressure BUT I avoid overlaying strokes, and if I do overlay strokes, or when I want to continue a tone, I use the eyedropper tool - this way a second stroke will not be darker than the tone I'm continuing, and thus I will not have this watercolor effect I suppose you are talking about.
that depends. on the video u can see I screw up a lot at first (her chest for instance), it could have been better if I sketched some rough shapes first.

WTF How did you do that?
jackyboy691 1 year ago
so a good way to start this is to paint the values instead of the outlines?

How long did it take to become that good?
Sanirea 3 years ago
I was not at the time, I screwed up the mouth, and it took me too long to notice that I also screwed up her torso.
How long? About 15 years I suppose :)

what brosh you use it for?
cartoonmasterprodct 3 years ago
It was done with a standard round brush with it's opacity linked to tablet pressure. Later on some splatter was added with another brush.

Awesome job! i wish i knew what brush types could do that. i've been trying diferent types in photoshop.
