Why would anyone try to have a discussion with a fundamentalist of any religion? It's a waste of time, they're either brainwashed or trolling.

It would have been nice to see university students engage in an argument that would have been a little more intelligent.

I brought up some actual good points and wanted to just talk but he refused to turn around and look at me, talk to me, or acknowledge any of the points I was making. So after 20 minutes of trying to get a decent debate going I gave up and decided to troll. You cannot debate with a wall.

@ryanwpg Some people were, evidently, shouting beginnings of a rational argument at that Vulture For Jesus. Unfortunately, when in a crowd watching a public spectacle like that it's hard to fully develop and articulate one-on-one arguments. Furthermore, a certain breed of Fundies like that gentleman have developed ways of utterly avoiding real-world, empirical matters and instead try dishonestly to string together a worldview from misleading tautologies & analogies.

@OpenAirOutreach Like all "good preaching", the fine vulture for Jesus here displays gross intellectual dishonesty in addition to trying to hermetically seal himself from any contradictory evidence reality might present. A plethora of typical guilt and emotionally manipulative ploys are deployed, unfortunately - of course - the vulture of Jesus isn't screwing around with young, vulnerable, street kids and gets his gimmicks thoroughly shot down.

@danmaninhissandvan firstly, the guy calling everyone names, telling people they're evil and was being hateful and using raciel and sexist and homophobic slurrs is the bad guy. Secondary i'd call you a cunt as well but you lack both the warmth and the depth, sweetie. Pointing out flaws, wanting his argument to be valid and wanting answers when he refuses to turn around and look at me is rather rude. Once you have him slandering your name, then come talk to me :)
