Nice video! i try to do the same in my Premiere pro but my program dosen´t find the twixtor plug in. the Plug in is not where you select effects at all. any ide how i can fix it?
@VwErik88 You can try re-installing but make sure to download the proper version for your version of Premiere Pro (CS3, 4, 5 or 5.5) and make sure to get it from our website. It will put it in the right place automatically with the installer.
@apcesarr Can you please explain what you mean by, "it didn't work" to be more specific because maybe it is due to a step being left out or perhaps the footage being used (regarding frame rates matching).
@revisionfx it simply didn't work.. but after i made an update of my premiere pro cs4 it works. i can export but not render the video after using this effect though..
@GJSN7 I can't cover everything in one tutorial. Please watch the other Premiere tutorials and if there is something that I still didn't cover, you can always ask here or tech support. : )
Please help me! I've got a footage, I cut it, and put a twixtor plugin on it. When I change the speed to 10%, then the video plays from the beginning, and I can't change the duration. So twixtor cut's my video, and it's unable to change the duration :/
@mogyesz225 You need to re-watch the tutorial from 3:44 on... it will tell you how to extend the clip when you do a slow down. Let me know if you are still having problems after you watch the tutorial and follow the steps.
@CreativeEffects Can you be a little more clear with your question? Do you mean, "how do you put the twixtored sequence back to replace the original in the Premiere timeline? You can add Twixtor within your timeline or you can do it as a separate project and just import it and replace. If you do it within your timeline, you will be able to revise it if need be since it will not be rendered.
@djurmaine 50% speed is 2 times slow mo, an in-between will be created every two frames. 200% speed will drop a frame every 2.
1% speed is relative to the original FPS. For example if your video is 50FPS and you set to 1% speed it's like if you shot at 50X100=5000 FPS. The output video is still 50 FPS but 100X slowmo.
Speed is cumulative from the first frame. It's sometimes easier for lip-synch to work in frame mode. Watch the Lip Sync tutorial we have as well.
Negative speed will go backward so you cannot do it at the begining of the clip as there are no frames before the first one so you will get black frames.
@Ghosstt2010 It sounds like you may have left out the step to make the extended sequence. Watch the tutorial again from 3:52 on... Let me know if this does not answer your question.
@Ghosstt2010 Did you Actually make your clip 1 (the extended/padded sequence) then take that and drop it into the new sequence and then add Twixtor to the new sequence and change the speed (slow down since you are "stretching it out". Those are the steps so if you try that again and it isn't working. Contact customer support for further help.
Too complicated for this tutorial in layman who is premiere. Start following the video, dai ja Pulas for some new threads that do not know how they were created, in part to slow it. Have some other tutorial?
@wellingtonrlima You can watch our tutorials on the help site for Premiere (if you go to helpdotrevisionfxdotcom). Sorry to write that out but YouTube does not allow links. If you need further info on how to run Premiere itself that we only have info on how to run Twixtor within Premiere and we write the tutorials expecting people to already know how to use Premiere.
@Foerdy Premiere pro just repeats or drops frames when it increases or decreases speed where Twixtor uses proprietary tracking and motion estimation technology to calculate and synthesize new frames instead of dropping or repeating frames so you have a much smoother result
when i installed, it says that it is an after effects effect..but i dont have after effects, i have premiere pro cs5...how do i bring the files into premiere so i can edit
@dundeeslapped Just make sure to download the Twixtor Plug-in from our website. It will install them in the proper place. You should watch this tutorial again .
@xbigatr4inx: You need to create two identical sequences (let's call them Sequence A & and Sequence B), put the video clip in Sequence A and put the A sequence inside the B Sequence.
Now you should be able to apply the twixtor inside your B sequence without a problem.
@sk8nowplease The installer puts it in the correct place... Just select CS4 when installing. Also make sure to run as an administrator on your machine.”

@revisionfx I already have it but it didn't install it into Adobe plugins folder, what do you suggest?
GanEdenAustralia 8 months ago
@GanEdenAustralia You should download it from our site and check the proper CreativeSuite version.
The plugins are not placed in Premiere folder but in:
Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\CS(version)\MediaCore
If you still have an issue to contact techsupport
