  • Huge Tool fan and searched progressive metal bands and I'm fucking glad I found these guys!!

  • it reminds me more of opeth than tool.....

    but thats just me

  • Okay, I agree, Tool is godlike, and I love 'em too. But, you need to stop comparing every prog. metal band to them. :\

  • It's a pity that they don't have too many fans here in Finland... Gotta go to Germany to be able to see them, and PW as well.

  • Very reminiscent of tool, right?

  • @WayOfTheBastard sounds nothing like tool. why does everyone say that all progressive metal bands sound like tool just because they are in the same genre.

  • This is niiiice! I think I'll add this to my list of albums to buy!

  • Fantastic album. Maybe not as demanding of the listener as "A Murder of Crows" but equally inspired. Dead Soul Tribe should be getting more attention...

  • @FiOth87

Ι can't believe I found one comment of yours in here just by accident.

  • @altair1985 Indeed mate. Great minds think alike! ;)

  • Amazing

  • sounds like a mix of tool, dream theater and maybe mhm what? riverside?

  • @sniperbag lol, maybe not so much riverside.

  • This song jams! Thanks.

  • sounds like tool with no balls...

  • dEAdsouL tribE

  • Top draw. Power and subtlety come together seemlessly. Wicked drums.

  • AWSOME song XD

  • never heard of this band... but this is fuckin good band..

  • A great song.

  • WOW!!!!!!Your right movit!

  • I listen to a lot of fairly unknown bands, but this is one that really should have more recognition. Perfectly polished, great music, great quality. I love DST. If I can ever find their music anywhere, I'll be sure to buy it.

  • Couldn't agree more....

  • I have "A Lullaby for the Devil," and I love it. I'm debating whether to get this album or "A Murder of Crows." Any opinions?

  • hmm both of them are good...but I prefer "The January Tree" ;D

  • Yeah, just get all of them, Dude. There's no harm or negatives in having 'em all. Don't just limit yourself to one album at a time...The problem with that is every album of Dead Soul Tribe is different, hence their prog metal title ; they are always progressing and changing their sound. So all I'm saying is try to grab as many albums as you can at once, it really helpred broaden my horizons on the group...(also take a look at Psychotic Waltz...Buddy Lackey's group before DST..Truly Amazing).

  • Yeah, I've been thinking about getting all the Riverside albums too. It adds up though, I with I had more money... at least amazon is cheap

  • I looked up at Amazon...here in Germany you pay for the album "A Lullaby for the Devil" 15,95 € ---> 19,71 $ (20 $) -.-

    in the USA you pay 16,98 $ --> 12,92 €

maybe I should buy the album there xD

    hmm...but shipping would ruin it

  • Yeah, go for getting it local. Much cheaper, and less chance of sad accidents while the stuff is getting shipped.

  • @Tkot2326 i have already bought all their albums! really, these are must-have albums for all progressive fans! by the way, where are you from?

  • @ma7euszzz Yeah, since the one year ago that I last posted on this video I've gotten this AMOC and TJT by DST, and I've also gotten the first two albums by riverside. As well as a sh*t ton of other music too!

I'm from New Mexico man. Land of green chile and no water, lol. You?

  • @Tkot2326 this is an old comment...but buy Second Life Syndrome!! i promise you won't regret it...its truly a 5/5 album

  • @Tkot2326 excellent band i'll try to find dst but riverside is one masterpiece

  • @sniperbag DST is awesome. Favorite song is The Gossamer Strand.

As for Riverside, I FINALLY got REM, and it's just as sick as the first two. Still need to get ADHD. Also just got Rhapsody Of Fire's new album Frozen Tears of Angels and Blackfield's debut. GOOD STUFF!

  • @Tkot2326 Blackfield? Haven't checked this one out, still I know the name. Isn't that a band of Steven Willson? I listen A LOT to Porcupine Tree and No-Man.

  • @sniperbag Blackfield is a great group!!! It's Steven Wilson and Aviv Geffen, who is an Israeli rock singer. I consider them the "Kings of Melancholy". Their tunes have a quality that just gets you right to the soul. REALLY good stuff. Check out their music!

  • @Tkot2326 buy BOTH of them!!!!!!!

  • i heard spider and flies so long ago a song i downloaded from people who was downloading from me now i get to hear more they are really good

  • I've only heard this song from The January Tree so far, but I still want to get the album. This song is just killer.

  • very nice song
