keep playin! practice! most people give up playin wen they don't make progress! soon if u keep tryin u'll get way better. playing guitar is like getting your car stuck in mud. you get stuck for a while make some progress then get stuck again and so on and so on... but my point is keep trying... i started playing smoke on the water right after i got my guitar... i play guitar a ton... now its been a little over a year and a half and i can play all of master of puppets by metallica!

sounds like ure playing through the treble pick up
strings sound a semitone or two out
other than that if you knew it better it would be a good cover
