Tetzlaff is one of the smartest violinists around. He plays everything with real knowledge (unlike mainstream players who play everything the same way) and that's probably why his interpretations seem peculiar to most people. Very underappreciated, sadly
I found it very baroque in its dynamics ; it's clearly not the mainstream way to play the Partitas. Even though it makes sense, I personnally still prefer the classic but intense Perlman's rendition.
Quite a slow tempo and too much vibrato... I like Szeryng's and Kremer's versions better.
