Fans may look at the new album as disappointing, but it's the used's decision to move away from their previous "genre" for they all sound the same. Too much of the same sound really sucks. Listen more to their tracks, maybe 10 times, and you will appreciate the maturity (lyrics, instruments, etc). This same thing happened to me the first time I listened to Dashboard Confessional's Dusk and Summer, but guess what, that was probably their best album. No comment for Shade of Poison trees though.
