Definitely not acid jazz. The drums are straight disco, the bass is funk, the strings (present in almost all their tracks) are both disco and akin to movie scoring, and the guitar and piano on the odd beat and upbeat gives it a jazz feel as well. Their instrumentation is pure jam band as well. So amazing, so funky, and nary a rock lick or feel present.

Yeah, it was so funny! Just as I came out of the station, he was walking past. He was wearing a trilby hat (Typical Jay Kay!) He saw that I recognised him, but gave me a look as to say "don't give it away!" so I gave him a wink and stuck out my hand. He walked past me, shook my hand and carried on walking. I would consider Travelling without moving and Synkronized as Pop, A Funk Oddyssy as dance, and Dynamite as Pop/Rock. according to facebook and Wikipedia, a new album is just around the corner. I wonder what genre that will be. Hopefully, something new!
