Oh, yeah. Bright Noa is like the only character in UC who has been most of major battles in Federation-Zeon conflict and survived, something that even Amuro, the main character, failed to achieve. Even though he loses his son in Hathaway's Flash in such tragic manner (although it is not considered as canon).

Apparently, Bright Noa makes appearance in the novels. Although he is mentioned in episode 1, I am not sure how it will work out in the OVAs since the voice actor died after conclusion of Z Gundam movie trilogy. I would rather have Bright make silent cameo rather than have some other voice actors failing to sound like him.

Gundam Seed Plot was used in this anime. This most likely confirm that Amuro and Char are dead but Amuro Ray's cell' are obtained since Cardias wants Newtypes to be known once again and its the only one that can pilot his creation. Anna volunteered and implanted Amuro Ray's cells resulting to pregnancy then the child they later named Banagher. Full Frontal is actually Char's son, and they just make others believe that he was Char. They created a fake situation for it to happen.

Both Char and Amuro died during Char's Counterattack. That is an established fact. They won't come back to life. I don't want to spoil any of you guys on this series plot so I'll refrain from saying exactly who it is. But yes the masked man has a connection with Char, but he isn't Char.

On a side note, can't wait for this amazing series 2nd episode. It just sucks that we have to wait around 6-8 months per episode.

@iExD In the end of "Chars Counter Attack" Both Amuro and Char go missing after Amuro tryed to stop the colony from hitting Earth while holding Chars escape pod. They were later listed as K.I.A. (killed in action). This new Char is just an imposter trying to be Char. But Char is way too epic for anyone to mimic.

@iExD Unicorn is what got me into UC. It sounds stupid starting near the end, but I'd seen clips and trailers of it. I'd only tried to watch the original MSG once and I didn't really like it, despite liking older anime. After seeing the Unicorn trailers and MSG being available for free on youtube and some other sites I pushed myself into watching it, and before I knew it I was hooked. Now I've pretty much seen all of UC and I can't wait to get Unicorn episode 2 on blu-ray.
