@quangluu96 ... the P and i have to do with pixel refresh not pixel area. 720p and 720i have the same amount of pixels just Progressive screens refresh every line every cycle while Interlaced screens refresh every other line every cycle. this is why progressive scans TVs are better for actions and high movement sequences

@iTweet2010 no 720p is 1440i....progressive is 2x the interlace. 1080p, 720p then 1080i, 480p,360p, 240p...
